I don't think you realize how serious the claim you are making is. It is a conspiracy theory (a large airline told the CDC to lessen the quarantine recommendation for Covid and they complied) and is on the same level as claiming that Covid was created in a lab. Even Dr. Fauci was behind that for a bit and AFAIK he abandoned it because there is no evidence for it.

That article is dated three days ago. That's not old news. It's also a fact reported by multiple sources.

it is an awful decision not just because it was made to pacify the MUH FEELINGS crowd, but also because it adversely affects shittons of other issues like video guides, how-tos, walkthroughs, and other stuff. if it's a fake/bad video, we need to see the dislikes to see if it's reputable. Comments work but the expert trolls will just disable comments too.

I think part of the logic is to intentionally waste people's time on tech support and videos for more ad dollars.

COVID affects people's mental state sometimes and actually apparently it is worse when people are depressed. The biggest problem for you as a caregiver is that if you contract it, you will feel great at first... Until you don't and then it might be too late. So please continue to talk to friends who will notice if your mental or physical state slips. Also, get a good blood oxygen level reader asap. You can get pretty cheap ones that can go on your finger for cheap and then remember to believe it... If your Dad's level starts to drop anything 80s or lower, let him know going to the hospital is not an option.

Actually, if you know he has it I'd immediately try to get him to get the infusion asap. It's actually a race time because it works best in the first five days.

If you fall ill on Friday, you may be too far gone by Monday

Use Microban for surfaces and Lysol for the air in every single room in the house and shoot the air vent too

Use gloves for every single surface you need to touch and replace them immediately when touching new surfaces

Also... Do not attempt this without going in knowing that if they have any strand other than Omicron, the odds of you dying are real

Unlike what you may hear, your vaccination status is irrelevant. You want to AVOID contamination at all costs and this is how you'll need to do it. Don't forget to double mask N95 plus another wider mask on top of that.

I want to talk about variants. See, I just got done talking to a college educated person who is still clueless them so I assume a lot of people are. If you contract COVID, where you contract it is an important clue as to what you need to do. The newer Omicron variety mimicks a common cold so it will be often asymptomatic especially if you are young and healthy. However, if you work in a densely populated area that never really deep cleaned... You might pick up heavy headaches and sore throat... That might be the Delta strain. In that case, you need to get the Monoclonal treatment as soon as humanly possible because if it gets in your lungs you're gonna have a bad time. For Omicron, consult your doctor but basically vitamins and bed rest.
