Yup it was literally that exact same quest

When I first got the game I ran into some issue where it wouldn't launch for some reason and I ended up having to reinstall it, which scared me immediately. Other than that I haven't ran into too many issues.

There was just one where an NPC's neck/head was flipping out so I couldn't talk to him to finish a quest, but luckily I just had to reload and it put me right back at the same spot.

Just finished Deathloop tonight. I have no idea how it got perfect scores, but it was fun enough.

It was very good. Arguably more fun to play than the other games, but it's a lot better at 60 frames per second on PS5 thankfully.

Hmm, I didn't know it got a PS5 boost, I might replay it in that case.

When Avengers was revealed as a live service game all hope was lost instantly. I remember so many people in the E3 topic here hating it, and the internet as a whole just did a collective eye roll.

Well the day one patch is supposed to have "over a thousand" fixes so we'll see how that turns out. Hopes ain't high though, I was gonna probably wait on a sale anyway and the seems to confirm that being a good choice.

A thing that discourages me that I had no idea about previously is this UV meter thing. At worst it sounds like something that will hamper gameplay, at best it could be a minor inconvenience that makes you wonder why they bothered putting it in in the first place

Apparently it's buggy as shit, which doesn't seem like it's gonna be fixed with a Day 1 Patch, though the developer is working on fixes.

It was praised for the parkour and also knocked for bland protagonist and story

That's not what he's saying. He's saying that this whole time Ali hasn't been on TV is not due to paternity leave. Ali only requested one show for that, the rest of the time is because creative had nothing for him presumably.

My rarest Platinum is for Transistor at 3.1%. That reminds me that I need to replay that after I get the plat for Hades.

I said it when it was first announced, the interesting thing about Uncharted was that you were essentially playing through an action movie. When you take the interactivity out of it, it loses what made it special and it swings back around to just generic

I'd probably give it a shot. I never got into any of them when I was younger but I had an uncle that played the ps1 games religiously. I think they were the only games he played at all.

He let me start my own save file in one of them but I could never really wrap my head around the customization/loadouts so I bounced off of it. It was fun as hell to watch him play them though.

I think it was mentioned in one of the first episodes that Nezuko is a special case of demon where she gets stronger from sleeping instead of feeding on humans, that's just a contrivance of the plot

Loved this series as a kid. Reread it as an adult again and while of course it does have some hokey things for the kids demographic, it often dealt with some heavier subject matter. I think I have a read-through topic archived on the Books board from when I did it.

Gotta love a series that could slap a random South Park reference in a dream sequence and then on the next page have that character on a hunt for a revenge kill

Oh man, that fucking on-rails turret mission. I was never able to beat it. My friend at the time did it for me so I could proceed, but on subsequent playthrough never got passed it again.

I was replaying it recently and that shit was definitely the most frustrating part. My friend was doing a replay of it a couple of days ago and that's where he rage quit.

I'll listen to it, but I overall didn't care for After Hours and Take My Breath does nothing for me, assuming that's the single off of this. I'm sure there will be a couple of songs on the album I'll rock with.

The better thing about that scene, and I know it's been mentioned before, is that Old Town Road still got made post-snap. I know it's just a song but the thought is hilarious.

Well, you don't HAVE to lose to him. You can actually beat him and unlock the post game modes, so it's less like this where you're scripted to be unable to win.

Like I said, you have to lose to him to finish the mission, otherwise you get the hidden ending and have to do the mission over, so in principle it's still the same thing.

Not a JRPG, but it's a little annoying how in DMC 5, you have to lose against Urizen multiple times throughout the game, and at specific phases with certain characters. The annoying part comes on new game plus, because you can easily beat him, but if you do you get a nonstandard game over and then have to replay that mission and lose to him properly. It's a little annoying keeping track of which phase with which character to have to not try on.
