I was born in a small town in a developing country, everybody hit their kid, my dad wasnt any different, if anything he beat me less than the average parent back where Im from. Growing up in states made me resentful of my parents given how the West views hitting children and it influenced my perception of why I thought it was fucked up. I have learned to get over it as I got older though, I was lucky to have a father like him in the sense that hes always been here for me, even if what he did can be considered abuse , a lot of people dont have fathers as caring as mine.

Pretty sure his presidency was doomed the day he entered by lack of legislative control. But pretty sure that would be the case no matter who is in the hot seat.

Can't really expect much if there's pretty much 0 chance to pass any legislation.

This is very true as well, if Biden had the proper tools and resources to push his policies forward he would have, his political career spanned multiple decades and at every step he has shown he has favored and supported policies that are beneficial people more often than not

Climate change is getting worse every year: hurricanes, drought, wildfires like never seen before. Ultimately this could lead to our demise in just a few decades and our global society is not doing much to stop it.

Political tensions seem to be reaching a fever pitch in the USA. The 2 party system is becoming radically polarized to the point where our branches of government cant pass any meaningful legislation for the people. Americans dont trust the advice their doctors and instead seek medical advice from people like Trump, Joe Rogan and conspiracy websites.

Speaking of medical advice, many people in our country cant even afford to go to a doctor and havent seen one in years.

Inflation is rising, cost of goods is going up but wages have not followed closely enough. Housing, which was already prohibitively expensive is skyrocketing even further out of reach for most people, and for some reason we cant get approval to build apartment complexes because the people that already do own homes dont want supply to increase and lower the value of their properties.

Oh yeah Russia is about to invade Ukraine and it may signal the beginning of a Third World War, potentially creating global strife and suffering.

Police are killing black people at such a rate that it can happen on a daily basis and its hardly a shocking story anymore.

We just had a President incite a violent insurrection and attempt to overturn the result of a fair election, effectively ending democracy as we know it in the Free World. Politicians are trying to make it harder for certain groups of people to vote. Gerrymandering to basically rig the election as much as they can to cling onto power.
