Billy also contributes a number of different voices, and arguably has a more important role. You might be able to do Futurama without Bender at all, but the same couldn't be said for Fry. Also, John DiMaggio might end up being a victim of his own success here: his body of work has inspired imitators eager to replace him. I think that sets the expectations for writing quality more than any other factor. Secondly, they were kinda-sorta written like adults in the first place. For most of the series the three of them lived with each other as housemates instead of with their parents, and they work an incredibly dangerous job which their lives are focused around. Aside from high school, they are effectively emancipated. That's long before they explicitly age up the characters for college. Aging them up again wouldn't change much. Contrast this with Kim Possible, a roughly contemporary show with a similar theme, where it's almost central that she's school age and not independent from her nuclear family. Revelation34 posted... a reboot would probably just make them older. If Winx Club Season 8 is anything to go by, a reboot is more likely to make them younger. According to the producers of Winx Club, you can make cartoons for babies, you can make cartoons for adults, but the market in between is rougher than it used to be. Both of these shows are in an unenviable position where a lot of their established fans are adults now, but there's no way in hell they can transition to an adult audience. On the other hand Totally Spies might have an easier time staying the course because it's not a show about magical fairy girls. --- This album is not available to the public. There's more splashing than can be accounted for by her simply hitting the water. She goes in face down, and it's very possible she reflexively gasps for air after going under. This would affect her buoyancy and presence of mind, making it difficult for her to surface, especially if she's not a good swimmer. She probably does continue to splash around, but a few feet under the water. Just because you can't see her struggling doesn't mean she isn't. --- This album is not available to the public. If the person who spread those pictures did so in order to discuss the subject of those pictures and only distributed enough of the work to have that conversation within a reasonable context, that's at least somewhat likely to be called a fair use in court. To put it another way I don't think it's likely that the use of the work, to talk about some aspect of the work, will be denied a fair use defense. I doubt it's really defamation either. There's a statement of fact that this woman is a sex worker of some description, followed by an opinion about this fact, that her position within the community is incompatible with her vocation. The person who wrote this letter has every right to express both of those things. So where that leaves us is with her going after the school directly. Personally I hope she has enough of a case to at least push for a settlement that includes her legal fees and an apology. It's none of the school's business if she poses for erotic photos, and nothing she's done should disqualify her from participating in school related activities with her child. --- This album is not available to the public.
