Agreed but Freeza DOES come really close. He had some incredible lines and scenes in Abridged.

In particular, that line he has when Vegeta's whining about how if he's not immortal, Freeza will do something that gets cuts off because he sees Freeza, never fails to send chills down my spine. The delivery of that line, dear Gamikai.

Yeah that's waaaay too much.

If memory serves, each game is 90 dollars if you count the DLC. 60+30 for Sword and 60+30 for Shield.

So it really depends if that listing includes the DLC or not.

That said, whether or not the two games are WORTH 180 dollars is a completely separate story. I actually enjoyed SwSh but almost 200 dollars seems a bit much.

Honestly I need context that doesn't seem to be immediately given in this topic before I can know how to feel about this.

-If the wife just did it on her own, unprompted, just to be nice out of good will, then I think it's fine and should, in fact, be applauded.
-If the guy has some condition or something that prevents him from exerting himself by doing things like shoveling snow, that's also fine.
-But if the guy asked or demanded she do it, or if she was forced to because he waited too long and/or was being lazy about it, after she had worked that long of a shift, then we have a problem.

I'm leaning towards option one, based on how the tweet was worded, plus the mention of making breakfast for her at the end, but I could very well be wrong.

Ok so story time, this is gonna be a long one so buckle up. I woke up at 7:30 PM last night because my sleep schedule just flat out doesn't exist. So by the time I was ready to go to bed, it was almost 8 AM, but we had gotten a bunch of snow. I had a doctor's appointment (virtual) later at 2:45 PM, so I knew that even if I went to bed at 8 I wouldn't get enough sleep so I decided to just stay up and shovel snow, so that the dog could get out to do his business and so that mom could get to her car in case she wanted to go grab a soda at the gas station.

I had been feeling off all day. A bit of coughing, though not much, a terrible headache, an even worse stomachache during an attempt to nap, slight chills, stuff like that. I just attributed it to a combination of no sleep and it being colder than a freezer full of those weirdly misshapen SpongeBob and Sonic face ice cream thingamabobs.

Well fast forward to 8:30 this evening. Three hours prior, I decided "Fuck this, I'm going to bed for a bit", with the intention of sleeping until 10:30. Woke up two hours before I wanted to, because my bladder is virtually non-existent and decided "Hey, you know when would be a good time to take a piss? Right fucking now!" So I did that, and as I was, I noticed something odd. My tongue was numb. I figured that may have just been because I slept with my tongue clenched in between my closed teeth for 3 hours, and I was so tired my body didn't notice and tell itself "Stop that you little shit!" (At the time of typing this, the feeling has pretty much returned so I think I was right), but I decided to make sure of something anyway. So I went upstairs, cracked open a soda, and...

Dr. Pepper has 23 flavors and I couldn't taste a goddamn one.

I tested a couple of things that have a strong scent around the house and confirmed that I couldn't smell much either. Mom gave me one of her soap bottles or something, and I could faintly smell that, but even that wasn't much.

Now what's really weird is that mom said that people who are vaxxed and boosted tend to not get the smell/taste loss when they DO get COVID, but idk how true that actually is. Thanks to the vaccine, I don't think I'll be TOO bad off, though I am a little worried because I have a history of asthma. Besides gaining the superpower of only being able to use 60% of my senses, I still have a major headache and my throat does feel kinda funny, but again, how much of that would be the 'rona and how much would be due to lack of sleep or being outside in the cold for an extended period of time? I don't know.

We have some at home tests but I've been advised not to take them for a few days, since if I take it right at the onset of symptoms, it may come back negative even if I DO have it? idk. Regardless I guess I'm gonna have to stay in my home not doing anything for a while.

In other words, business as usual.

It's because they really want you to just choose to get over them. They generally either view the medicine as a scam or as something actually making your problems worse.

I 100% agree with you but I do feel like I need to point out that meds sometimes CAN make the problem worse.

Every time I try to take an antidepressant I do a complete 180 and go completely manic. It's not fun. Supposedly it's due to something that's in most antidepressants, I forgot what it is, but it's also apparently in most cold medicines. Which sucks because, while I don't get sick often, when I do it's REALLY bad and I can't even take anything to help relieve my symptoms.

But that's a whole separate rant.

Anyway, all that said, it's all about finding the right medication. I now take a... I think they classified it as a mood stabilizer? And while I still get depressed and shit, it's a whole lot more manageable than without my meds, and it helps keep my manic episodes under control too. It ain't perfect, but really, no medication is, it's all about finding what works as well as it can for you.

100% not Trolling. I picked up, "Fly," a long time ago. Fly meaning I can use it outside of battle. I walked into a Warehouse and got it. Is this the Town that the Gym Leader wasn't there the first time and came back after X, and I just moved on?

Where are you even trying to fly to? You can only fly to cities you've been before. Unfortunately, this does NOT include the lake where you need to go, as that's not a city. Fastest way (assuming it's Lake Valor) is either flying to Veilstone or Pastoria and walking from there.

Just open up the Town Map from the menu. You know, the menu where your options are Pokedex, Pokemon, Bag, and the like? Choose Town Map from that menu, and choose a city where you've been before, and you should be able to fly there.

If you ever played Sword or Shield, Flying in this game works just like it did there; from the Town Map.

This is truly poggers.

I got Fly awhile ago. Like, able to use it in battle. Outside of battle, able to Fly to a town, I don't think I can. And this is in a game where I can use Push, Strength, Surf, ect with Pokemon not even in my Party. So I must be missing something

Right, what I'm saying is you need to beat Maylene (the fighting-type Gym Leader in Veilstone) to be able to use Fly outside of battle.

What I don't understand is how you made it to Iron Island without beating Maylene.

You need to get to Canalave to get to Iron Island
You need to use Surf to get to Canalave
You need to beat Fantina to use Surf
And I THOUGHT you needed to beat Maylene and Crasher Wake to fight Fantina in the first place.

Did you unintentionally sequence break the game? I know it was possible a while back using glitches to skip certain parts of the game (or really, the whole entire game) but I think they patched most, if not all of that by now.

If you got Fly from the Veilstone Warehouse, you should just be able to fly from the Town Map menu.

Speaking of Veilstone, I believe that's the town you're talking about. It's got the department store with all those good TMs.

It was honestly a great change. Made many Pokemon much more viable. Especially considering what a dogshit ability Sturdy was before that change.

And it's not like there's zero counterplay to it. You can set up entry hazards. You can use multi-hit moves. You can use a Pokemon with Mold Breaker to negate the ability. You can set up Hail or Sandstorm.

It's fine for comp.

It's absolute bullshit when you just want to play the game and run into 20 Hikers each with 3 Geodude.

Riolu? You got to Iron Island and didn't get Fly?

Go back to Veilstone, go to the Galactic Warehouse (it's past the area where you fought a Multi Battle with Dawn/Lucas against the Galactic Grunts), and the TM for Fly should be there. Once you get that, Fly should also register to your Hidden Moves app on your Poketch and you should be able to Fly via the Town Map.
