Based on your list, I would recommend Wild Arms Alter Code F, or Wild Arms 3.

Outside of your list, if you havent played any of the games in the Ys series, then I would recommend that.

There is a fan remake of Half Life 1 called Black Mesa available on Steam. I believe the game received support from Valve to make. I just picked it up during the winter sale but havent played it yet. May solve some of your issues with jank.

we like the fact that each character has a personal bonus and a team bonus, makes picking a character have some meaning.

The card system is the main feature which allows you to add bonuses for the level you are playing and helps customize your play style even further. You build a deck of these bonuses that allow you to draw a bonus each round. These bonuses can stack with others to give you a sense of customization. For example melee kills can give you additional health, or you can take reduced damage, or can carry extra grenades or medkits.

The weapon add ons you can find or purchase during the round, allows you to fine tune your weapon performance so that each weapon does not feel the same. Your weapons are also given a star system so you can see at a glance if they may be stronger than what you are carrying.

Finding money during the level that you can use to purchase items or group bonuses in between rounds. There are also locked rooms that require toolkits to open up that can can be a nice supply bonus if your team is struggling. A lot of these things add to making levels more interesting and pressing your luck by exploring the area.You can also drop ammo or money for your teammates if they need it.

The corruption cards that are drawn each level provide some interesting ways to freshen up the level. For example zombies may be wearing bullet proof vests that make harder to kill, or there is a fog throughout the level that makes it hard to see, or crows that can alert the horde can be found all over the level.

All of these things feel like they expand on the Left 4 Dead experience and my group is having a lot of fun with it. Granted we are only halfway through the campaign on the easy difficulty, so who knows if these things will be stale by the end.

I am in the same boat here. Me and my Left 4 Dead group just picked up Back 4 Blood and are having a blast with it. Really enjoy some of the additions that Back 4 Blood brings.

I would also recommend Real Time Strategy games, they play best with mouse and keyboard. Command and Conquer, StarCraft, Warcraft are all pretty good starting points. Others could probably recommend more recent RTS games.

When I think of mouse and keyboard controls, First Person Shooters always come to mind. If you are looking to ease yourself into the controls any FPS should get you use to the precision camera control and the dexterity of movement.

What is urgent care exactly?...

Urgent Care is when you need to see a doctor ASAP and cannot wait to see your regular doctor. Usually this is used for non medical emergencies. You will have to go into the urgent care, get checked in and wait until they can see you. They will usually give you any prescriptions you need there. You will take your prescription and get it filled afterwards.

The ER is if you have a medical emergency and may need to be hospitalized. Not recommend to use unless you cant get treatment at the urgent care.

I like the shelves, Im trying to set up my own game room and looking for ideas for shelving within a limited space. I see the backer board for the shelves, but what did you use for the shelves? does it have sides to keep the games from falling off?
