In LA, you can rent a 3 bed, 2 bath house for around $3,000. That's $1,000 per person and you guys get a decently sized rooms with spacious common areas and your own backyard. And usually on a street with plenty of street parking, because it's not a bunch of apartments. A lot of my work involves confidential information, but they don't want us to take confidential information home. So I'm limited in how much work I can do from home. But then they also scrutinize over how much I get done while at home. If they don't feel it's enough work to justify 8 hours of pay, then I have to use PTO. It lets you be more hands off with settlements (if you want) and comes with it's own quest chain.
