It has definitely been a problem in the past for sure though. The bigger issue I'd like is to be able to delete Facebook/Instagram/whatever. Not only because I don't want to use Facebook/Insta/etc..., but even if I did, there are more optimized apps out there then the default ones. |

Which means that this fall (hopefully) classes will be mostly back to normal and we'll be having massive amounts of first year students. No free tuition and loan forgiveness stalling I don't think are having that big an issue, since that's been an issue for decades and not causing any trouble. |

| Proto_Spark 02/07/22 6:26:45 PM #3 | The actual "can you run it" can be a little iffy, but if you learn what parts your computer/laptop has its a pretty good resource for looking up minimum or recommended specs. The issue is that many games can be either really lenient with what you'd need to play it, and others are really conservative about what you need, so even if you fit the minimum specs you'll barely be able to play some games, and even if you're below the minimum specs you'll be able to play some games fine. So its about as good as it really can be, given its not like the guys at CanIRunIt are running every game in every different possible configuration of parts to see if they'll actually run. |

I image we could see a "TNA" guy show up later down the road for something, maybe inducting AJ Styles into the TNA hall of Fame the end of the year or something. Like that weird time Christian showed up like a decade ago in TNA while he literally held a title in WWE. Though at the same time, Mickie James showing up with the Impact KO Title and not being embarrassed is about as much of a positive for Impact as all of AEW did in 2021. |

But the Series S is basically in its own little universe, so I don't think it really counts. |

| Proto_Spark 02/01/22 5:53:36 PM #6 | I think part of the plan by Microsoft/Sony is also to basically try to scare off the really big tech companies, like Amazon (who has an interest in getting into gaming since they own Twitch) and Google (who have also already tried to get into gaming with the Stadia), and Facebook was supposedly looking into buying Activision before Microsoft did. Microsoft and Sony need to show the other giants looking in that they can keep up with the big boys (to keep the big boys out) rather than beating each other. |

I'm not denying its in there, but I can't imagine it is anything close to significant enough to warrant banning. If you're banning a book for the word "damn" or something like that its just like, what? If I had to think of anything in its defence, I would imagine since its an eighth grade history class (and eighth graders are horrible) they ended up having some nasty things to say about it instead of treating the situation with the respect it would need. Also the article in the OP is pretty inconsistent, are they banning the book (like, you can't read it in the library if you wanted) or just removing it from the curriculum? Removing a book from the curriculum is dumb if its for nudity or language (my 9th grade curriculum had to Kill a Mockingbird in it), but as long as its still there and available, I guess that's okay? |
