I 100% Shake It years ago, I don't remember it super well but some of the missions for the levels were huge pains in the neck. I think I remember struggling with beating the final boss without taking damage. Overall a fun game and I like the art style

@SilentSeph
maybe i should see if 4's easier, like you its been years since i've played these, playing a bit of shake it i cant get into it the same way i can with 2 and especially 3. missions are extremely annoying lol.

the first secret stage has tons of missions and i keep replaying it to complete what i can for missions during each run, i had a feeling my worst fear would be confirmed eventually... cannons during a timed escape where you need to be precise with motion controls through a long section. -_-

damn bosses have missions too you say? ugh lol.

i 100% 2 for the second time last year, as well as 3 for the first time. so kinda want to dive into these two, not sure if anyone had any difficulties with these. i beat 4 and shake it years ago but want to go through 100% runs, although i remember them not being my absolute favorites due to non-invincible wario.

visited a site using chrome which sucks to use on android because you cant use ublock origin and this pop up came up saying your phone has been infected with a virus with a countdown and something to install to protect it, i backed out. i did chrome and playstore scan and it said everything was fine, not sure if there's other ways of checking or was it a misleading pop up to try and get me to install the thing? thank you.

i've always been set off really easy into frantic worrying and don't know how to just calm down if anyone has suggestions.

yesterday my chromebook signed me out and said it was accessed by an unknown device. however said unknown device was my chromebook and my IP address. so now i've been constantly worrying about it ever since, looking through my settings, searching things up, but like nonstop and i'm getting really worked up. i'm thinking about starting over with a new email but don't want to go through the tedious procedure or even sure if its even necessary.

google has all my passwords saved and most of my accounts are tied to it so also thinking about stressing myself out more by likely removing all saved passwords, changing them all, and writing them down in a notebook. all of these ideas are overwhelming and likely... hopefully, unnecessary. i just want to calm down, that's all but all i keep doing is having repeated thoughts of all these things, when the likely, and most hopeful event is that it was just a bug.

its a complicated situation concerning 2FA, been thinking about enabling it. but the phone isn't exactly mine, its provided by q link. and if my mom gets mad at me she can take it at any time, i did set it up as a recovery address i believe. i also worry if i set up 2FA, what i would do if the phone breaks, cat has knocked it over the other day, and if it breaks i am screwed out of my gmail. i'm not sure if there are other means of 2FA as i'm unfamiliar with it, and if its easy to do so or not.

my grand mother passed away earlier this month from cancer so on top of persistent worrying i got that on my mind, and sometimes man, this life can feel too absolutely overwhelming to be in, with how everything is and how life works sometimes i think it's just not for me, everything can be so overwhelming at every turn and its so difficult.

Occam's razor says yes, but I could be wrong.

(I'm just trying to think what I would do next, I've never used a chromebook, so I am unfamiliar with their architecture and file systems)

I would probably cross reference the reported logins with the router access logs, and my own recollection of usage and look for discrepancies.

Just from a cursory reading, it's likely not the Log4shell vulnerability.

If you are really worried, do a password change and turn on 2FA (if it is not already on)
the router thing would have been a good thing, unfortunately it says no logs to show. ugh.

is there a way to do 2FA without a phone by any chance? or do you need one?

yeah its so strange and i keep worrying, the new sign in is both from my chromebook and my IP address. do you think it was as you said a flaw in how my ISP registered my IP? i hope to god it was.

checked my devices it says you haven't been signed out of any devices in the last 28 days and only has my device listed. already changed my password, so if someone was on my account wouldn't it list other devices or list what has been signed out? idk just so confused and worried right now.

If the dev hasn't pushed the patch to the play store, you may be vulnerable.

Total pain in the ass, as you have to find out if any of your programs rely on accessing a specific Java library, (Log4J v2.15.0 or earlier) then find out if the dev is working on a patch for their program.

And to complicate matters, they may have patched to v2.16.0 (vulnerable to a DoS flaw) but not patched to v2.17.0 yet

But that's just assuming it's the Log4J vulnerability. It could be a man in the middle attack where someone is spoofing your access point, or a myriad of other things. It could even be nothing and just a flaw in how your ISP registered your IP.

I have some experience replacing cracked screens on smart phones.

One thing to be careful of is the charging port. The ones with micro USB have a tendency become loose or even break inside.

Another is if it stops charging then examine it along the sides for any indication that the seams might be separating. This means the battery is expanding and should be disposed of.

thankfully the battery 'appears' to be flat when i popped open the back.

a sorento hot pepper or something like that, it's compatible with or is qlink. i have no idea. :c doesn't have a name on the exterior just a pepper insignia, never heard of it until now.

been mainly using it to stream anime and play snes and gba roms the past couple of days, haven't really used it for calls or texts as i don't care about that really.

Some phones won't charge if they get too hot but as long as you aren't overheating it constantly, there's nothing to worry about
@Metalsonic66

oh thank you, i was so worried it was going to start having issues now. wont let that happen again. i was away from the room for a half hour or a little more with it in that state. will make sure its not covered next time i charge it.

well anyways i'm kinda worried it's going to break, not sure if it will. well i left it charging and there was a pillow over it, i came back into the room and noticed it was making a notification sound, i went to check on it and it said battery is too hot please remove it. i didn't know these things can over heat. its cooled down at this point and seems to be functioning normally.

my question is could there be any permanent damage? i've been enjoying the thing so far, mainly for apps and i get paranoid very easily and worried the damage may be irreversible. thank you.

as someone who's a heavy smoker, i'm talking 2-3 per hour or two, sometimes more. it's sort of fallen into routine for me for many years. i don't want to quit, and afraid to do so, but i just might have to by the end of the year.

looking at the possible inevitable seems pretty impossible, i roll my cigarettes so more quantity and cheaper is how i'm able to smoke as much as i do, but it's still $50-$75 a month and by the end of the year i'm likely not going to be able to anymore, and it's not like i actually want to quit which probably makes it harder to.

All anime streaming sites that aren't licensed aren't safe to use with an adblocker. The ones that demand you stop blocking you shouldn't use.
so no extensions would help with these current issues, it would happen to anybody basically?

Redirects are often because you are being served malicious ads through the site. Which is either an error that they will hopefully correct, or it's a shady site that doesn't care because it knows it's a shady website and it's getting ad revenue
its a 3rd party anime streaming site i've been using for years, so yeah could be possibly shady and intentional. i don't really know of other's i can use.

i'm no expert on computers, i use a chromebook for the ease and the only extensions i have and use are ublock origin and ad block pro.

they have done the job for awhile but the past couple of days, this anime streaming site, every time i play videos on it or do anything on the videos there are constant page redirectings to other sites, like constantly. in my chrome settings page redirects are blocked but it still does it. :/

not sure what i would need for that to prevent it from happening.

also my other issue, for an example on the side bar on the main gamefaqs page there are articles from gamespot, sometimes i click one and videos automatically start playing. or sometimes when i search random things, like a medical concern or what not, some sites auto play ad videos. is there any extensions to prevent these as well?

thank you for your help.
