Sepucher 12/25/21 8:33:27 PM #1 | Back in the days of Blazing Saddles, the fart joke was fresh, new, and edgy, something never shown in film before. Since then, it's become as tired, stale, and dead as the very air coming from the human anus. The days in which a fart jokes was revolutionary and edgy are over. It's now the go-to jokes for Happy Madison productions, low-effort comedies, and obvious jokes to make kids laugh. It's lazy, overdone, and pretty much done when the writers are out of ideas. Not to mention it's fucking disgusting. It's time to retire it and do something new. --- The Living's in the way we die |

Sepucher 11/26/21 1:12:49 PM #16 | Blightzkrieg posted... They're never going to grow the fanbase if they keep making films that are tied to the bagged of the original series. Exactly. A clean slate is what they need. So that they can do whatever they want. --- The Living's in the way we die |

Sepucher 11/25/21 11:05:24 PM #12 | Zikten posted... Never reboot the OT. I'd be ok with rebooting everything else maybe Every new trilogy lives in the shadow of the originals. They need a clean slate. New ideas, new cast, new direction. Cut the umbilical cord. --- The Living's in the way we die |
Topic | Do you think Disney should reboot the Star Wars series? |
Sepucher 11/25/21 10:41:05 PM #1 | The sequel trilogy and season 2 of the Mandalorian have shown that Disney is having difficulties moving on and doing its own thing. The series seems stagnant in terms of creativity. Rebooting the series did wonders for the James Bond series, giving the series some of its highest grossing and most critically acclaimed entries it has ever produced. Perhaps this is the jumpstart that Star Wars needs. A fresh start. Do whatever you want. What do you think? --- The Living's in the way we die |
Topic | Is Sony your favorite/favourite corporation? |
Sepucher 11/24/21 12:19:44 PM #41 | Punished_Blinx posted... The PS3 (and also PS2 to a lesser extent) were also pretty badly designed. They were specifically created to be complex to develop for. This not only fucked up making backwards compatibility an easy process for the future but it opened the door for Xbox to come in and offer an easy alternative to develop for. Which eventually forced Sony to do the same thing. The PS2 was 100% compatilbe with the PS1 as was the PS3. I don't know whwt you're talking about. --- The Living's in the way we die |

Topic | Is Sony your favorite/favourite corporation? |
Sepucher 11/22/21 1:59:45 AM #1 | Most corporations are dubious at best. However, Sony, in comparison to its peers, has a pretty strong track record. Look at their Playstation line: they dethroned the king of the consoles with their first system (Playstation), created the best selling system of all time (Playstation 2), the most powerful console with the most diverse and high-quality library of that generation (Playstation 3), created the most successful console with the strongest library of last generation (Playstation 4), and are in line to continue that winning streak with the current generation. In every generation, we see powerful, well-made, versatile hardware, with little to no issues (compare that to Nintendo 64, which are notoriously poorly put together and the XBox 360's Red Ring of Death virus). Every Playstation generation as the most diverse library of its generation: Virtually every AAA game, minus exclusives arrives to Sony's console, but as do plenty of smaller-budget games, Japanese-developed games, as well as a bustling indie market. Compare that to Nintendo's poor 3rd party support and Microsoft's limited exclusives. To me, they're a remnant for when Japanese technology was at the epicenter of the world and the standard for good quality. They make mistakes, sure (the initial price of the PS3, for example), but they've never let me down any generation. I look forward to seeing what they have in stores for us this generation. --- The Living's in the way we die |
