Also Switzer took over from Jimmy Johnson. Pederson took over from Chip Kelly.

I don't think Pederson is great, but 'good' is definitely not out of the question.

No, Khan nixed that one in his one smart decision this decade. I imagine Tony must've told him that if he hired Bill O'Brien, he was going to put him in the cheapest retirement home in the worst part of Florida.

Of course Khan won't fire him. Baalke isn't even the problem at this point. Khan is. We'll never be relevant as long as he's the owner.

I'm about to give up on the Jags. Saints will probably hire Pederson, and we'll end up with Vic Fangio or Rich Bisaccia. Or worse: Darrell Bevel.

Sounds like Vic Fangio will be the new jags head coach. If that's the case, I'm done with this team. I'll find a new team to root for. If they're keeping Baalke, and letting him pick from the leftovers of people willing to work with him -- I'm absolutely done.

From what I know, it's mostly Tony Khan pushing the Wilson/Leftwich pairing. Shad wants to stick with Baalke and will hire Darrell Bevell if he has to. Here's hoping Wilson/Leftwich is what we get.

If the NFL had their way, there'd probably be 3 or 4 teams in Europe. But the logistics make it unlikely to ever even have one. But watch out if they invent teleportation.

That's part of the problem, yeah. It's why the Clown Khan avatars are blowing up on twitter just from reports that he's retaining Baalke. Of course the other problem is if we could fire the owner, the Jaguars probably become the St. Louis Jaguars in short order. Or whatever city decides they want a football team.

I mean it's the most Jaguars thing possible. We keep Baalke, hire Bill O'Brien, trade Trevor Lawrence for a 2nd rounder and an RB who'll never have another 1000 yard season. The few okay players on our team demand trades and/or release. Leaving us in, somehow, a worse position than we were before. I almost expect it to happen at this point.

I think I'm done with this team. We'll never have a competent organization. We're run by an idiot.

Sweet merciful Fred Taylor! Khan did it. He finally did it. He got rid of a terrible head coach before giving him a couple of years. Hopefully by the season's end Baalke will follow him and we can do a real search for a head coach instead of hiring the big name guy who never did anything in the NFL.
