Took a break to do the new lightsworn gate and it's probably the most fun gate I've done so far. Lightsworn was a deck I remember experimenting with back when I was bigger player of yugioh and seeing the new support actually got me engaged with the loaner decks.

Ash doesn't destroy and dangers aren't once per a turn effects. So negating the effect accomplishes nothing. It's funny how many times I've seen my opponent ash my Danger! only for them to -1 themselves.

Also another friendly pro-tip. You can't ash blossom dangers.

So something I learned is that tokens can't be used for xyz summons. Just a heads up for anyone who is deck building for it.

Dangers and Dark Worlds effects trigger off the field.

So if democrat is president, we shouldn't fill the vacancy before the election.

But if it's a republican, we should rush unqualified candidates through before the election.

I guess that's the standard we're setting.

I tried to combo for the finish, but I didn't realize I couldn't activate Utopia Double if Double or Nothing was already in my hand.

Part of me respects the sheer cheek required to play Exodia. But I always get a chuckle when it blows up in their face. >_>

I just had my first match against LyruTriBrigade since getting back to plat. Their turn 1 board had like 8 negates and 3 bounces. What are the chokepoints Im supposed to be Ashing lol.

Not that it matters since I bricked anyways and had no plays/handtraps. Woulda surrendered in the first five seconds if I wasnt trying to get those mission gems.

Sometimes Ashing won't matter, because they have multiple search cards anyways. Good things to generally Ash are things that grab more than 1 card from their deck or free special summons from deck.

You also have to consider that sometimes your opponent plays their weakest card first to bait out ash.

I just faced a Sky Striker Exodia deck and they got super unlucky with their draws. They got down to 3 cards in deck and still hadn't got all 5 pieces.

My favorite combination is undying slink. The tail gets undying and you get both back to your hand giving you infinite sac fodder.

No. In fact his deck has a bunch of dead cards. Seal of Oricholus does nothing since he has no monsters to buff. Branch! let's you special summon fusion material monster when a fusion monster is destroyed.

It's like a troll deck someone made to intentionally lose with.

Too many times I see people trying to activate monster effects after I used Harpie's Feather Storm or a guy who used Harpie's Feather Duster on Hysteric Sign

I don't think this would hurt Drytron, Tri Brigade, or Eldlich, the 3 most common decks, while it would annihilate decks that rely on some splashable Link or Xyz monsters to get going.

Also some archetypes have extra deck monsters in multiple types. So it would be such an unnecessary hit against them when they are hardly meta as is.

It's so satisfying to shutdown a Eldich deck with Barrier Statue.

Lol everyone on the masterduel subreddit is making memes about Eldlich being trash/cancer but...I'd rather try to play through it than wait ten minutes for Drytron to do their combo into omninegates. Everyone memes the skill drain/IO but IO is a one of that can't be searched so I'll take those odds lol

Eldritch decks are just not entertaining to play against and they are fairly effective for what they are. I stopped playing for a few days hoping the Eldritch decks would rank up so I would stop playing against them. Now I don't run into them and my duels have been more entertaining.

I finally made it to platinum 1 but I still see the occasional rogue deck. Saw a Harpies deck in platinum 3. Yesterday I even found someone playing classic heroes and I mean pure classic. Their turn was set Burstinatrix face down and mystical space typhoon, pass. They also made me go first. That duel left me confused for a while...

I had someone activate maxx c when they only had 3 cards left in deck. So I made them deck out.

The packs can refresh their duration if you pull of them since you have a good chance to pull the cards that unlock that pack again.

but they exist basically to give you a way to quickly get an arctype

The default structure decks are not competitively viable in any way. Now you can use them as a base to build a deck.

What deck are you even trying to build, because that's a very bad hand.

Like you basically require hand traps to deal with the opponent, because otherwise they can do that.

Some of the decks are legit unfair. One dude used a deck where he summoned a million monsters and had a card that can skip my turn is he sacrificed two monsters. So he just did it over and over.

I literally lost without even having a turn or being able to play a card. So unfair

The banlist in the game is a bit bizarre honestly. There's a lot of cards that were basically limited for a long time that aren't currently limited.

I don't think the restaurant owner realized how small of a market they are going for.

It annoys me to no end there are cards that can't be dismantled. Have 4 copies of a card and since it's one of the cards that can't be dismantled I'm stuck with it at 4. It's also an SR, so it's fairly valuable dismantle.

I'm so sick of facing Eldlich decks.

Damn that's crazy. I guess you can have long duels still lol. Also, the dude shouldn't have forfeited cuz then he gets no rewards from your guys' long ass duel lol.

I faced a nub so instead of full comboing their ass and getting them to uninstall the game, I would summon only 1-2 monsters a turn and give them a false sense of back and forth <__<

For short duels you will lose, you don't really lose out on much and you probably save more time forfeiting and requeueing instead of waiting for your opponent to finish you off.

I hit Gold V. Not that it's hard to do so since there appears to be no way to lose rank.

There are a few good 3 color options. So it's certainly viable depending on format.

The only option that has no viability is 4 color. Because unlike 2 and 3 color, there are basically no 4 color cards.

Well it's a free to play game that dropped recently that can easily allow anyone who play yugioh regardless of how familiar they are with the game.

I had an intense duel with a Shagdoll deck. Won it with the Harpie deck I built, because I got lucky and ran into a Harpie secret booster and knew how to build a Harpie deck.

I barely played killer and people were still doing this to me when I was rank 20 killer getting matched with much lower ranks (matchmaking was shit last time I seriously played, which was a while ago)

Survivors are much worse on average. Likely cuz there is 4 of them and a lot of them are super entitled.

Killer wins, they complain about how you won.
Killer loses, they gloat about how bad you are.

Then practically every cheater I've encountered has been a survivor player, because I got sick of playing killer for how awful the experience is lately.

I've seen a few killer players be awful but it's much rarer.

Stop falling for propaganda. Yes, Proof of Work Blockchains consume a ton of energy, but that's required for the security of the blockchains as BTC and ETH are aiming to absorb the current banking system.

The current banking system has regulations to protect the consumer and uses less energy than cryptos (at least in countries like the US). So it's funny you think there's even a remote change crypto is going overtake the banking system.

The DBD devs don't really understand their own game at an experience level and also seem to ignore all feedback. Not to mention how slow they are to put out very simple changes.

Mid-chapter patch is coming with minor buffs to many unused perks that won't change those perks from being unused since they don't address why the perks are bad. A couple of decent perk buffs that might end up getting nerfed before going live, because people are already complaining about the perk changes before getting released. And that's all for balance changes.

Also on the mid-chapter patch is: A QoL update for wiggling that somehow manages to also buff wiggling. A really unneeded change in the first place. Pinhead VO, Nurse Bugfixes, A fix to validation issues (hopefully), some anti-cheat fix (we'll see how effective it is once it goes live), and removal of leatherface cosmetics for a dumb reason.

Bugfixes and validation issue fixes are nice, but when this is the one major patch we'll see for months the balance changes are so lackluster.

There's a pokemon with 3 stabs (due to it's ability). And it's not good, because gaining Steel as a stab attacking type isn't that good.

I like how this topic is getting people to call themselves out for being part of the incel/MTGOW/etc club.
