Most of these are good. If kiwis count, that might be my choice.

Not 100% sure (though "Everyone Is Here' is almost cheating), but my favorite trailer remains K. Rool's due to a combination of:

1. Revealing a most-wanted character.
2. Being (at its time) a wholly original trailer in content.
3. Having few (maybe even the fewest) shortcuts taken on stuff like details - i.e., no recycled character models, no large swaths of the scene with a lot of shadows or that take place in outright darkness, etc. Worst it does I can think of is the heat blurring the background trees a little in some shots.

What other movies of his would you recommend? I've only seen Raisin and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

Not that I'm an authority myself, but Lilies of the Field, A Patch of Blue, The Defiant Ones, Blackboard Jungle (non-lead, but nonetheless) and, of course, In the Heat of the Night would all be worth your time.

Yeah, and six weeks from 95. Same age as (and just over a week older than) Harry Belafonte, who's still with us. A couple still around from that era, but the candle's burning low.

Peter Bogdanovich also left us. New Hollywood's getting up there themselves.

Keiko Nobumoto passed away today. She was the head writer of Bebop, and also gave us Wolf's Rain, in addition to co-writing Tokyo Godfathers with Satoshi Kon himself.
