What was so bad about the jokes? They seemed funny and the audience seemed to agree. Outside of vague "they're harmful" replies. Like specifically what

Is it really just boondocks syndrome "well it's funny, but people will use the jokes the wrong way so we gotta stop making it" kind of situation?

What is he making fun of? Can anyone fucking explain what they think the jokes are already instead of just repeating "It's comedy. Everyone is mocked".

I thought he was taking the piss? I guess Chappelle is Schrodinger's cat. He's either being incredibly honest about trans people or performing high brow satire, depending on which argument triggers the libs at that moment.

Wasn't Dave Chappelle himself taken aback when people misunderstood some of his old sketches?

Most comedy is a lot more nuanced than "just making fun of everyone". Dead baby jokes don't make people laugh because they think mocking miscarriages is hilarious. Kirk Lazarus wasn't funny because he had "black people" hair.

If Dave Chappelle is actually just ruthlessly mocking people for being born a certain way, then that actually would be shitty comedy and it would be fucked up to find that hilarious. The punch line matters. Even insult comedy is more than just walking up to a blind person and laughing about how disabled they are.

I'm not saying it can't be funny. I want to know what we think the punch line is.

Alternatively, show me some times where Dave was "just making fun of" black people, white people, straight people, women, etc

The idea of "Impossible pussy" is funny as shit

How in the world did you think he was just taking the piss

Break up with s/o, Deaths in family / friends, Fallouts with friendships, Moving on from jobs, etc

Like if that stuff happens and the person just immediately is like "yeah that sucks and I'll miss them" and they immediately move on without showing much more emotion outside of that. And they don't seem bothered by it after like a day or less

I mean everyone knew the Taliban would take over after we left so this is probably the best outcome unfortunately

Them taking over so quickly and killing all the locals who helped us was what we were worried about

I thought it was pretty bad. Gameplay was clunky and stiff. but if someone can concisely explain the story without sounding stupid as fuck I might change my mind.

Go recruit these 6 teammates

Oh good, you recruited them all? Take 2 of them on a story mission and then go recruit 3 more.

Wtf I've barely had the chance to hear any of them talk during the missions, let alone even bring some of them on a mission and in the cutscenes they all act like we've been a team for years

I'd like to think this game takes place over like a year or more because of the time it should take flying everywhere, but I think it's been like a couple weeks in-universe which is insane

Are you suggesting that "i got kids" means employers should pay you more than someone who doesn't?

Think about that, for just a minute.

I'm suggesting they pay more to the lifers who they need to function. Not just people with kids. The lifers just tend to have kids eventually because they're there so long

I think if you're an adult and have kids, then those jobs should pay more because those careers depend on adults to work there a long time to be able to function and would never be possible with only high school kids.

Paying a "living wage" though? Depends on what that means. Does every worker have to be able to afford a single apartment, phone, car, insurance, netflix, and still have leftovers for retirement? I doubt that's feasible for America tbqh
