For every hour they spend cleaning her up and feeding her they spend like 5 hours sitting down, chilling, watching t.v and looking at their phones. Lol. So I've worked in a nursing home and done at home support like your grandma gets. In a nursing home you can have up to 7 residents equivalent to your grandma's state to look after per staff member per shift. And you'll often get one who has extra poor mobility or extra bad dementia that eats into the time you can spend with the others. Its the condition I tend to associate the most with the word crazy due to the hallucinations and delusions. I read up on it a little bit and its more treatable than I'd realized. Are you taking medications/seeing a therapist for it? It's okay, my post wasn't meant to be confrontational. I think I'm on the low end of the spectrum, I only get psychotic/delusional under times of immense stress or when I'm taking recreational drugs. So I've got myself an easy low stress job and try to avoid everything including alcohol these days. And I'm prescribed antipsychotics but I gained like 20 pounds on them and you get the personality of a zombie with them, so I only take them if I'm feeling a bit unwell mentally. I can see the signs coming a mile away now so it's all good.
