Generally when you buy a pan it will come with a set of labels that indicate how you can wash it. I'd not be afraid to put any pan in the dish washer, except for the ones that will rust if I don't wipe them immediately.

The thing is that time is 10 PM for me which is when I go to bed on weekdays. To match on a weekday you guys would have to be up for it pretty early, sadly.

I'd be interested, but in my current life there's not really enough time to play an MMO. So it would have to be a game that isn't meant to be played as much as say WoW or FF14. But I could also see how it would be really bad.

Problem is that with re-releases of games loading screens get diminished, possibly into nothing. If the developers decide to turn it into a story section to mask the loading, that walking section will always be there.

Surely that's a problem for future me and not present me!

That type of thing is often used to load a bunch of assets. Do you also uninstall games with loading screens?

Not to be a Russia apologist or anything, I don't like them. But we've been spying on them for quite a while. Just saying that as far as klsupning goes, we're not innocent.

Doubt there's much to the provocations though. Feels unlikely that they'd want a serious conflict up here while also doing their shit in Ukraine, meddling in Kazakhstan, etc.

According to a Kotaku article with one of the devs this is meant to be Monster Hunter Stories, but with Pokemon. I don't think it's the big open world Pokemon game people hoped it would be. You'll essentially have a hub zone and drop into different maps like old-school MonHun games.

Interesting. If this game turns out to be a sort of peaceful exploration type game (even with the hub and different maps like you say), it could be fun. I guess it sort of depends on how they balance battle content with other content. But I'd be happy to play a Pokmon game where finding, catching, and exploring play a larger part than just being the backdrop of a single player campaign and a multiplayer meta. Supposing of course that it plays smoothly rather than clunkily.

Either way, I've been pretty out of the loop and any info I can find on this is pay locked, but it doesn't strike me as particularly unlikely. There was a story a month or two back that the Danish government is renting cells in a prison in I think Croatia where they intend to send prisoners whose sentence ends with an expulsion from the country. Which is just a baffling idea to me that a country doesn't feel responsible for the personal overseeing of people it takes in its care against their will. Denmark is geographically small, but I have a hard time believing there's no room for such institutions.

Difficult to find sources in English about this. Story broke in Danish Jyllandsposten yesterday, some of our resident Danes might be able to elaborate?

Basically from what I understand, Denmark have been trying to get Rwanda to let them build refugee centers there since at least May, so that Denmark could essentially deport any asylum seekers to Rwanda while their case is being considered. Rwanda is a dictatorship. This latest story is that Denmark tried to sweeten the deal with 250k doses of vaccine, but Rwanda ultimately turned them down because they thought they didn't need them.

There's this childish obsession among a segment of Star Wars fans that seemed to think that the movies can't be good unless there's a super menacing and powerful villain taken down in a formulaic epic lightsaber duel. And as soon as Kylo wasn't that, they started complaining.

Yeah it's fairly obvious imo that they're hypocrites just trying to be contrarians. There's a point to be made that restrictions are now made because of e.g., the seasonal flu (since COVID hospitalizations are relatively low compared to previous peaks) in lieu of proper financing of the healthcare sector. But that's not the point they're making. And such financing and restructuring doesn't happen over night.

Her apartment is quite big, but a two roomer still, and a newly renovated rental at that. So long term were looking to move into something with more rooms and less rent, but we're not in a hurry.

No, not really. The delay has happened for a lot of reasons. COVID, complications in the research, my own executive dysfunction, etc. But the apartment sale isn't helping :)
