spaghettyhoop 12/11/21 8:06:41 PM #24 | Criminalt posted... I'll say. Wifey has relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis and when she was partially paralysed for a couple of months during a particularly severe relapse, she didn't get a penny. But against that, I knew a neighbour years before whose living expenses were largely financed by the taxpayer because he was too drunk to work most of the time. Was it because of personal connections, a sympathetic or naive caseworker? Who knows? The system's like a rigged pinball machine that sometimes seems to be tilted in favour of the least deserving. The reason I know what I do is because I work in the system. I can promise you its not rigged. At all. But it is ran by a lot of incompetent people who are in positions they wouldnt come close too in the private sector. Its scary how many managers dont understand their own rules and guidance that they are supposed to follow, and its the public that often end up suffering because of it. --- Xbox live - spaghettyhoop Nintendo ID - Spaghettyhoop |

This is completely not true. You would have to have a major health condition and be classed as disabled. Admittedly it could be a condition caused by been overweight, but you cant get handouts just for been really fat. Also if you knew anything about the uk benefit system youd know its not very easy to get sickness benefits even if your legitimately sick. --- Xbox live - spaghettyhoop Nintendo ID - Spaghettyhoop |
