My only experiences with something of that nature is when I would go to an amusement park, or lounge on a floatee ALL DAY, and then try to go to sleep at night. Close your eyes in bed, and it still feels like your body is being thrown around by a ride, or rocking to the waves of the water.

Is 200 lbs and 15% body fat even possible unless you're 6'4" or built like Franco Columbo? I dont think Columbo even hit 200 lbs.

If they somehow green lit a Raid-like film with Epsilon or lower end Beta power level superheros, I'd be all over it. Could be a lot of fun.

Man, that opening cinematic gave me chills the first time I witnessed it. The scene where the rat evolves is still etched into my brain, as well. Your cop buddy (who actually looks a bit like Powell from Die Hard lol) knocking out a reporter for you... Central Park, the top of the Statue of Liberty, the Chrysler Building (kind of like Nakatomi Tower)....

I'm playing through this for the first time now. It's one of those games that really nails the unsettling atmosphere. Probably helps that for some reason there are no pedestrians seen at all in NYC, during Christmas time no less.

It's great game. Caught me by surprise as a young lad. I had never experienced a JRPG with guns and 3D movement. Haven't played any of the sequels.

A multitude of reasons they can't be compared, and you chose popularity? Alright, I guess.

I may be misremembering both works, but I think there were quite a few superficial similarities.

I don't think I've ever heard or read a comment saying that Die Hard wouldn't work unless it was set on Christmas. Interesting thought.

I know of one other that I believe was worked on by Hideo Kojima waaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day, and that's pretty much it. Would be nice to play a thematic game.

EDIT: For those wondering, the Kojima game I'm talking about is Snatcher. The Blade Runner of visual novels that takes place during Christmas.

Alright, so this story is terribly retold and very confusing. I had to look it up for myself.

The kid who died is named Valdez. Valdez was buying drugs, probably just weed, from the defendant. He tried to run without paying. Defendant chased and a struggle ensued. According to the defendants lawyer, Valdez was on the wrestling team, and the defendant is under 100 pounds. Valdez got the upper hand, mounted the defendant, and started slamming the defendants head into the ground (this is, again, according to the lawyer). Defendant reach for a utility knife he had on his person, a struggle for the knife occured, and Valdez was stabbed multiple times in the chest. Died later in hospital.

Alright, that's the unbiased gist.

I loved XCX but got overwhelmed trying to 100% it. I think I had 125 hours in the game and I hadn't gone past chapter 3. Just so much to do, and worse yet, a TON of missable moments and connections. There being so many missables and a lack of information online made me reluctantly put it down. It was incredible while it lasted, however. Exploration was the best in the series.

XC1 was meh, and then you hit Graur Plains and see the scope of the game and it becomes this incredible experience. I'm pretty sure I was one of the only ones with a complete affinity chart at the time I beat it. I was walking around the entire world, speaking to every npc every 3 hours (in-game), with every single party member lol

XC2 is awesome, but I thought it was the weakest of them all. Still worth a playthrough if you enjoy Xenoblade in general. My game tip is to nudge your character around after every first hit of your weapon. Fills the gauge way faster and makes the combat feel more engaging.
