Wanted to pick the Bengals, but couldn't bring myself. They have a feeling of a team of destiny. But that o-line... that Rams defense. Just couldn't see how they win. But I hope they do!

Good Luck Foxhead.

At least there's some consolation here that you didn't have to experience the greater pain of having picked the Bengals. Congrats to foxhead though on the win.

The first stage is decided by the two players striking four of them. Player one strikes first, player two strikes two more, and player one strikes the last one, essentially picking the stage.

And from there on, the winner of game one bans two stages from the full list and the loser of game one picks the stage from the unbanned stages.

Got it. Thanks.

Yeah that was pretty crazy spacing; I guess the hitbox on his down-smash spawns that far away from G&W so it hit on the other side?

Also other QBs at the time readily admitted they like to push the boundaries of what is allowed because they like their balls a certain firmness.

I'm not aware of this ever happening, just certain QBs like Rodgers saying he liked his to be as inflated as possible (which is not the same as saying you want your equipment guy to abscond with the game balls disappearing inside a bathroom to inflate them beyond the legal limit). As with every cheating scandal New England has found themselves in, Pats fans then twist what happened to pretend that "everyone was doing it" even when their opponents weren't.

I don't heavily blame them so much though because the league is incredibly inconsistent about actually enforcing their rules, so I can see why they figured they could get around some of them without much fuss.

Like for example, it used to be a rule (or at least supposedly was) before they changed it that offensive players couldn't carry the ball carrier forward, but every season o-linemen would push their guy forward for extra yardage, and I have never once seen that called.

Mike Tomlin once came off the sideline to trip Jacoby Jones on a return to stop him from scoring a TD, and by rule, the refs should have awarded Baltimore a touchdown, but they didn't.

Point being while it doesn't absolve the perpetrator, it is fair to question how much of a rule something really is when it isn't being enforced, and that's entirely on the NFL for muddying the waters in the first place.

Well, not too fast. They'll be good letting them score on a 5-minute drive as long as they don't use all their timeouts.

Everyone besides the rushing 4 were 20+ yards back while every single reciever for KC was within 20 yards. All that when a 20 yard gain gets them into field goal position, so yea it was.

No. 35 for Buffalo was maybe 5 yards downfield and gave Kelce a free release inside like he was guarding the sideline or something for no reason. That had nothing to do with prevent.

Edit: Sorry, it was 39 - not 35 - but either way, they weren't playing prevent.

I will never get the complaints about the coin toss. The game has to end some time, and if your defense sucks this much, you have no real complaints about not moving on. Maybe change the rule that the next team gets to possess but has to go for 2 if the other team is up 7 or something, but if I'm a Bills fan, I'm way more upset about that 4th quarter choke by my defense than not getting the ball back in OT.

Why teams play prevent like that when a FG ties it i will never know.

That wasn't prevent; the DB just let Kelce run unguarded down the field for no reason. That's not even a defense unless you're trying to let them score fast or something which obviously wasn't the situation there.

Everyone already realizes this which makes the idea even more insane. Like, I see an argument of building for the future if you can get great return for Rodgers in a trade, but otherwise, the Packers are totally screwed without him.

For whatever reason, I'm not feeling the '9ers today. It would be hilarious if Jimmy G ends Dallas' hopes this early, but I would be kind of surprised if he can avoid turning the ball over, and even more surprised if Dallas wins the TO battle and still loses.

I flipped a coin 3 times and two of 3 came up heads, so I picked the Bucs. I was legitimately going back and forth this morning on who to take. If Hurts is even ok passing, I think the Eagles will win (assuming they also don't turn the ball over) due to their rushing attack.

Why did they spike the ball instead of running a quick play? Cost themselves a chance at the TD.

That and Carr's decision on 4th were both rough. They had time to run a play on 1st down instead of wasting it.

Actually, even if you do neither, I would find it interesting how you could possibly construe a scenario where someone protects their final pick from being copied as "slimy."

And to be clear, I have no problem with dp copying my Saints pick because he beats me on TB points. That's on me for getting my picks in late and not thinking about PMing them all in the 1st place.
