Well in the books hes chilling a lot with Elyas, who was more interesting than Perrin anyway in the first book but yeah he doesnt even exist yet in the show.

But omg the scene with Lews, how can you change that, we go from he is totally insane, has murdered his family, gets made sane momentarily by a Forsaken because they want to laugh at him, and he goes full pissed and kills himself by creating and erupting a volcano (Dragonmount) around him. Totally badass. But no instead he talks with a woman Aes Sedai for a bit.

Then Rand, we are supposed to get him going to the Eye of the World, realizes its supposed to be a one time use power source for the Dragon, those two legendary Forsaken show up, hes like fuck you and murders the shit outta them, then realizes his friends and basically the whole continent is in trouble because of mass Trollocs attacking at once, so then he really goes batshit angry and starts teleporting around and wiping out thousands of Trollocs ALL BY HIMSELF. Yet again, totally badass. But no instead he has a dream about Egwene.

Honestly, its pretty hard to drop the ball this bad lol wont lie

the show doesnt really go against that. The flashback takes place after the fight so it could still be the case.

why was mat fired?

Yeah Tam is super retired after he helped deliver and was raising Rand, thats not against the books at all, dude isnt really a full Blademaster anymore.

And yeah the actor who played Mat literally refused to come back to work after COVID, deleted all social media stuff and went full recluse, its why the whole thing with the dagger was as rushed as it was which sucks because that had a lot more happening and he should have had a lot more development in The Ways too but not much you can do when an actor loses their shit like that

Never saw the episode, but book spoilers but that kinda kills Tam's character even more. Dude's a fucking blademaster. The best of the best when it comes to swordsmanship. First they do him dirty when he jobs to a single trolloc, and now if I'm reading what you wrote correctly he just gives up?

Then he saw she was literally giving birth and was like oh shit respect and helped deliver the baby.

Covid hit and they still had the last 2 episodes to film. Apparently the dude who played Mat just went ghost and deleted all his social media and didn't turn up for the show anymore. Dunno what's actually true. It sucks because I actually enjoyed him as Mat.

Yeah they say several times about how she only wears men's clothes and is a huge tomboy. That didn't really come off the way they showed it with the new episode but maybe it will be different when Min is more a "main character" type of person.

I'm not expecting to see Siuan, Tom or Min anymore this season. Mat too but that's a different story.

Pretty good episode.

Yeah this was the first episode that really felt like Wheel of Time for me, mostly because that opening scene was finally something completely by the books, I dont know why they keep making random changes. The books are great source material lol, use them is what I keep thinking.

Money Heist is actually on my list, heard its good but idk when Ill get around to watching it, shows on the list get delayed, like I just finished Invincible, which is pretty awesome btw.

Lol and I like Egwene, she dont take no mess. In the show I think my favorites have been her and Perrin, they had a good chemistry as actors in their traveling with the Tinkers portion.

I have 300+ channels plus HBO Max and Showtime Anytime for free. $210 is still the cheaper option plus I can watch any show the next day on demand.

Yeah I just have the antenna, then Netflix, HBO MAX, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime

Less than 100 bucks a month and I get more stuff legally than someone paying for cable or satellite
