I have the desire to play games like I used to, but every time I actually start a game, 15 minutes later I start thinking it's quite boring actually. I like games online where I can play and chat with people, but the online games are filled with toxic people. I miss the casual late 90s early to mid 2000's game lobby that were filled with anti social nerds and good sportsmanship. And I know it wasn't all peaches and cream back then, but I do remember actually discussing tactics and strategy in an RTS game. Actually saying good game and meaning it, being friendly enough with opponents that you happily invited them to be allies the next game. Having game modes where you could win by changing allies and becoming everyone's ally instead of just crushing them. But where crushing a weak opponent was still an option you just had to balance it around them being an ally of one of your strongest allies as well. Where there actually were pros and cons to different playstyles instead of getting pigeonhold into a meta and railed against even by your own team if you don't follow it.

Assuming you are also learning like a 4 year old, yes in a heart beat. Imma go back, be a Prodigy, get some money and enjoy my youth.

I've lived the vast majority of my life in SE Minnesota and all over Iowa and have never even one time seen anyone make a grilled cheese sandwich with mayo. And believe me, I've known plenty of people with questionable cooking skills/taste but no one has ever ruined a grilled cheese with mayo in my presence. Never. I can't speak for the south, but it's not a Midwest thing anywhere I've lived or visited.

Central Wisconsin here. I'll do it occasionally, but I prefer butter. Mayo does have a different taste to it that's not bad, but doesn't give me that nostalgic butter vibe I grew up eating.

I had a full set of base set 1 pokemon cards all 1st edition. I traded them away for some video games when I was like 11 or 12 and growing out of pokemon.

I don't think it has anything to do with safety. People have been getting murdered during travel for thousands of years. Safety is just the excuse thrown on.

It's classism. Cars are almost a necessity in America. We have shit public infrastructure, and everything is built so far apart that you can either spend all day walking, or get a car and do your errand in under an hour.

When cars were less necessary, people were more understanding of the need to hitchhike. Now if you don't have a car you must be a dirty poor person who probably is only trying to steal or murder good hard working people. /s

People also just drive for fun less. Most people aren't just driving across country for a random road trip. Or seeing the countryside. They do that on their hour long commutes to work. When they drive they are going somewhere.

I have picked up hitchhikers before, but I'd rather be home enjoying what I have than out spending money, so usually when I see one I keep driving because I have places to be.

Overall I don't think so. It will suck for certain countries, but I don't think it will reach ww1 or ww2 levels unless Trump actually does use military force on Canada or Greenland. And even if that does happen the decade is half over and there's the 30's to look forward to.

They definitely made a lot of jokes about how Jason Alexander was gay for Esmeralda's goat, but I don't remember him ever making a fart joke in the movie.

The cut the cheese line was in like all of the commercials for it. I sat through dozens of trailers for it because it came out around the time I was getting dragged around to all day wrestling tournaments my brother was in and the choices were, help at the concessions, read a book, watch wrestling, or watch cartoons on vhs on the TV someone always brought out of the av room for the tournaments.

Because of that I might be remembering the wrong amount of gas jokes attributed to him, but I do remember them having too much screen time overall.

The Bells of Notre Dame is my favorite Disney opening, and it was in the middle of an era where pretty much all of their openers were great.

The gargoyles dragged the whole movie down. I saw someone suggest reworking the gargoyles so you couldn't be sure if they were real or a figment of his imagination. It probably would have fit the movie better, but it also might have become too adult, then again beauty and the Beast did fine despite not having as blatant comic relief as a fat gargoyle making fart jokes.

Lion king is my favourite, but I think beauty and the Beast was the best and the little mermaid is high up on the list in significance.

Unpopular opinion: Aladdin is the worst of the Renaissance movies and I put that on Robin Williams. Robin was great, he was funny, he was heart warming, but all the pop culture references date the movie, his stage presence over shadows the other characters any time he is on screen and some of the genie animation is distracting.

Still a good movie, still has amazing songs, but I don't think it holds up to the other movies.

2 and a half hours and the pizza arrived room temperature. The baked cheese dip wasnt even melted anymore it was solid cheese with a layer of grease on top.

This topic made me want a pizza for supper.the good pizza joints are not open on Monday for some reason, so I ordered dominos as it has been a while since I had them. It's been an hour and 50 minutes and my order still hasn't left the store.

Confuses me. I might watch it once it goes to Netflix or something. But looks a little silly, I'd probably not go to a theatre to see it.

Porn without plot is gross, but gratuitous sex in the middle of the plot is distracting from the story. It is a rare and talented director that can combine the two.

Considering the time it takes to train a service animal, and the life expectancy of larger dog breeds, it would be a terrible investment unless the larger breed can do something specific the smaller breed can't.

I'm a pretty picky eater. I love most of the meats and sauces, and fried rice is always amazing, but the vegetables are almost always horrible.

I miss duckbear. A lot of his topics may have started stupid, but more than a few promoted some interesting discussions and engagement. They were also consistent so there was always a new topic to check out.

Immediately cash it and change all my money to the euro or another foreign currency buy a plane ticket and hide in the alps for the next 10 years while I wait for the world to make sense.

I don't like coffee, but my grandpa liked it black and as thick as tar. The pot had to be on the stove top for at least several hours before he decided it was good coffee. Will pods do that?

I got it early. A lot of people complained about the software in reviews, but I found the software to be fine. The hardware on the other hand, I had issues with. In the first day the pen tip broke and the ghosting was too bad to ignore. It was at the point where I refreshed the screen multiple times and still had some ghosting. If the product was closer to a $200 price point I probably would have accepted it, but nearing $600 it was too much to ignore.

I have 30 days to try it out, so if it doesn't work out I'll return it and get a paper pro instead.

I was leaning toward the supernote manta with its biggest downside being no color option, but it was on backorder.

I was really impressed with the remarkable from what I had seen of it, but the lack of support for Libby or Kindle made me hesitate on it.

Numbers I've heard is something like $14,000 per year from K to 9 and high school tuition could be as much as $25,000 per year.

Considering just daycare costs are close to 14000 a year and then you would have to pay for the education on top of the child care, I think the upper limit would be a better guess.

Tough choice, you have some good options. Would this be your first watch of any of then or have you seen them before?

Didn't realize you could actually get an S25 yet. I have an S21 Ultra and I don't really feel the need to upgrade.

Same runs perfectly fine still, I definitely don't need a new one every year.
