Of the three we only meet Gary who refuses to tell Ash who he picked. When the two finally battle many, many, MANY episodes later we get Pikachu vs. Eevee making people think 'did Gary get an Eevee as his starter?' I believe this is later debunked and we learn Gary chose Squirtle, but Eevee at the time became his star mon. Later in the Johto arc that Eevee is shown to have evolved into an Umbreon off screen.

Cybertron was a mess. They make an effort to say they need to remain hidden (on a planet they're already established to be part of). I've been wondering about that, why is it called a trilogy when as far as I know the three series have nothing to do with each other Galaxy Force is it's own thing in Japan, but for whatever reason Hasbro felt the need to add it into the Armada/Energon storyline when they dubbed it into Cybertron. The problem is of course the countless amounts of continuity errors as a result. | Airhammy 08/08/23 2:01:36 AM #17 | In the original series there were a variety of Transformers that could turn into animals, but they were still mechanical. One exception were the Pretenders, some of which had flesh like animal shells.
In Beast Wars the Maximals and Predacons landed on a planet covered in raw energon. It would short out their robot modes within minutes if they left the protection of their bases. So they used a new technology allowing them to scan local lifeforms and use those alternate modes to protect themselves. Later in the second season much of the energon had become stabilized so this was no longer an issue. In Japan's spin-off Beast Wars II those Maximals took the form of animals (even though there was no energon threat). Meanwhile the Predacons scanned a historical computer on the planet and took the forms of military vehicles once used there. Their leader Galvatron scanned both a drill tank from the machine, but also a dragon, so he was a triple changer. Most of the Predacons later mutated and took on beast forms anyway. Then in the 2021 draft they drafted him to RAW even though he had yet to debut officially, and then they proceeded to do nothing with him outside of a couple short appearances. Now he's on NXT, and yeah this is the appropriate response. Now will WWE move ahead accordingly?
