When I registered in 2005 it was to post on the Pokemon Ruby board. I later found the special interest section and began posting on the Pro Wrestling board. I friend showed me CE a couple of years later, but I only lurked.

I find myself here more often than the PWB now, but typically post in topics regarding general interest (TV shows, and video games I like, stuff like that). Otherwise I don't say much because.....yeah.

A 28-year-old Kansas man was shot and killed by police responding to a possible homicide and hostage report but gamers say the call was a swatting prank.

More than a dozen gamers said the prank call was the result of a feud between two Call of Duty players Thursday night, but police have not yet confirmed the connection, reported The Wichita Eagle.

It was a shooting call (at 6:15 p.m.) involving hostages, said Deputy Chief Troy Livingston, of Wichita police. The original call, we were told someone had an argument with their mother and dad was accidentally shot, and now that person was holding mother, brother and sister hostage. We learned through that call that a father was deceased, and had been shot in the head. That was the information we were working off of.

Police arrived at the house prepared for a potentially violent hostage situation, and an officer shot Andrew Finch as he came to the front door.

Livingston did not say whether Finch was carrying a weapon when he came to the door or explain why the seven-year veteran fired the gun.

Police dont believe the slain man fired at officers, but the incident remains under investigation.

Finch was pronounced dead at an area hospital, and the officer who shot him was placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.

No one else had been injured at the house.

Two gamers were arguing online about a $1 or $2 wager when one threatened to call a SWAT team to his house, and the targeted gamer provided a fake address where police went to investigate.

I DIDNT GET ANYONE KILLED BECAUSE I DIDNT DISCHARGE A WEAPON AND BEING A SWAT MEMBER ISNT MY PROFESSION, a gamer identified as the prankster tweeted, before Twitter shut down his account.

The target of the prank also tweeted about the incident, saying, Someone tried to swat me and got an innocent man killed.

Family members said Finch did not play video games.

Designate a space the cat can reach and always have water and dry food available. Feed it wet food once or twice a day. Place a litter box in a suitable area. Preferably away from yourself. Laundry room if you have one, or your bathroom if it's large enough.

Scratching post, and cat treats can help. They love boxes.

Power Rangers did it because Sentai did it (although their version had every Red Ranger from Goranger to Gaoranger)

Also Saban had originally intended to have a big battle with Serpentara vs. various Megazords, but that fell through and they changed to the dull ending with Cole on his ranger cycle.

The thing is they never really refer to the prior Santa as if he died. Yes he disappeared, but to where? Did he have a Mrs. Clause or child? If so what happened to them? Maybe it's an odd form of retirement and he simply reappeared in his former Santa state with his mind wiped? Who knows.

One of Saban's more bizarre shows. Originally conceived as Cybertron, the show was to star Jason David Frank as Adam Steele taking on the forces of Grimlord. Jamie Kennedy also had a role as one of the comedy relief characters, and the dojo sensei Tao Chong was meant to be Adam's mentor and the person who introduced him to his powers.

Footage came from the 1987 Metal Heroes series Choujinki Metalder. Soon after fan demand for Power Rangers resulted in JDF returning to the show as Tommy after the Green Candle episodes. Saban also came under fire from Hasbro over the show's name.

Overall they changed things up. Adam Steele became Ryan Steele and Brad Hawkins was cast in the role. Then they decided to splice in the 1986 Metal Heroes series Jikuu Senshi Spielban. Sarah Brown and Michael Bacon being cast as Kaitlin and JB to fill those roles. Recurring characters were changed which resulted in Jamie Kennedy's departure. Tao Chong's character was altered and the mentor role went to the virtual Professor Hart.

You could tell the distinct differences in the Japanese 80s footage to the original 90s American footage. Especially since the armored characters came from two completely different shows and were never on camera at the same time.

When VR Troopers went into it's second season they gave Ryan a new suit which came from the 1984 series Space Sheriff Shaider. New sets were created with American actors filling in new roles for Grimlord and his troops. The show got even cheesier with.....well, just look lol.

Back in 1987 (I was 4) when my dad got me an NES he meant to use it as a bonding tool. I'm not even sure if I knew what a video game was at the time. Anyway his idea never came to pass as he merely watched me play (sometimes) rather than join in.

A few years later my mom would occasionally join me in an SNES puzzle game.

When the Wii first hit my dad, uncle and aunt would play with me a few times. Mostly Wii Sports. Interesting experience teaching them.

tbh they don't work that much out of the year. Multiple episodes are recorded in a day. I think they even discussed this one time on air.

EDIT: Just checked a vid, Vanna says they record 6 episodes a day.

So 52 weeks in a year x 5 days a week = 260 episodes, divide by 6 = 43.3 days in which to record a year's worth of Wheel of Fortune.

I like their food, but it differs in quality by location for sure. Same with say, Subway. Many here have expressed being to bad locations. The one I often go to is great.

Whenever you order one of their chicken sandwiches you're commonly asked if you want cheese and/or bacon on it, then plain or spicy.

As for the argument of there being better places, not everyone has access to said places. Here we have KFC, and Church's Chicken. No Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, or anything else like that. or maybe you have a local fried chicken place, and no big chains.

There's a large ongoing fan-made multiverse comic that's been in the works for some time. It focuses on a tournament between the fighters from all of them, while also telling the stories of them individually. Of the 21 universes in the storyline...

Kakarot was never born in this universe. Gohan trained Krillin and Tien who went on to have the same adventures Goku would have. It is evident they must have died at some point as well as they both know Kaio-ken. Yamcha was turned into Android 17 instead of Lapis. Like his prime counterpart he never lost his humanity and joined the side of good, and later started a relationship with Bulma. Yamcha is Trunk's father in this universe. Tien has 4 arms. Videl is also part of the group and much stronger than her prime counterpart. She knows Kaio-ken, and carries the Z-Sword. Videl has a son with Trunks. Krillin would go on to replace Roshi as the master turtle hermit. His personality is different and he doesn't like Saiyans, good or bad.

I've been collecting the dvd sets (PR and Sentai), and I'm gradually getting through them while watching other things and keeping busy. Jungle Fury is about to hit dvd next. Need to find SPD and Mystic Force. On the fence about Operation Overdrive, but I do want everything before Saban's return.

I hated how they handled that portion of Season 2 with Tommy, Billy and Kimberly being the focus while the others were just there at times, and the badly dubbed voices during the fights. As a kid it took me a while to warm up to Rocky, Adam, and Aisha because I really liked the original characters more.
