Yeah there were a couple of points where I was just bouncing back and forth in the same pattern until I adjusted. What caught me off guard the most on my first playthrough was the "up & down" enemy.

Publisher Nicalis is bringing Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San, a platformer starring a hat-wearing octopus, to Nintendo Switch and Windows PC later this year. Its a good fit for Switch, which is replete with retro-style platformers, but few are as stylish as Save me Mr Tako.

Save me Mr Tako pays homage to the Game Boy (and Game Boy Color) with its visual design and limited color palette. Developer Christophe Galati is attempting to stay true to Nintendos late-80s handheld by restricting Save me Mr Tako to just four colors onscreen at a time. The games soundtrack also uses Game Boy-era instrumentation, according to a press release from Nicalis.

Heres the story of Save me Mr Tako:

"Set in a world where humans and octopi are at war with each other, Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San tells the tale of a pacifist octopus who rescues a human woman from drowning. An octopus fairy sees this act of kindness and grants Mr Tako (the game's protagonist) the ability to survive on land, where he can learn more about the ways of humans and help to resolve conflicts between the two species."

Tako can attack by spitting ink at enemies, which turn them into platforms. The game also features 50 different hats Tako can wear including, apparently, an archer hat that lets him spit arrows and a dog hat that lets him spit out pups.

Looks like the game has been delayed. Originally meant to come out around this time last year.

I'm not really sure which one I personally dislike most. I own them all, and there are some I've watched far more than others. I don't hate Moonraker. As much as I like Brosnan, Die Another Day is likely up there, but I still like watching it.

I never bought a Beat Call. Had an M-Tank and Eddie Call but never used them.

The tanks could use a little more detail. They seem so plain in design.

I forgot the name, but the "Big Eye" of the game I felt could have been used a little more. They're only in 2 stages iirc.

It would have been nice to have unique music for each Wily stage. There's unique boss music for each though, which is neat.

Just learned yesterday that the Tundra Storm can freeze the fire walls which is pretty cool.

Maybe they'll bring out playable ProtoMan and Bass DLC sometime later.

Speedrunning the game is already insane. The any% record on Normal is 42:42 and dropping every day. The power gear shreds so much.

I had a lot of fun with it. Bounce is my favorite robot master, and I like his weapon the most. Torch was my favorite stage. Amazing graphics, pretty decent music.

The manual for Super Mario Bros. 2 originally asserts that Birdo is a boy who "thinks he is a girl" (i.e. transgender), and would rather be referred to as "Birdetta". Later releases of Super Mario Bros. 2 removed mention of her new name. Starting with Mario Tennis, Nintendo eventually simply refers to Birdo as female, depicting Birdo and Yoshi as girlfriend and boyfriend. However, several games still make mention of her male body, such as Captain Rainbow, or refer to the gender confusion without assigning one, such as in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I beat the game on Normal last night. I found it really fun. Amazing graphics, great music, and good weapons. The BounceMan fight was my favorite, followed by Tundra. My complaints are focused on Wily's fortress. It's rather short, and every stage has the same music, but overall I still liked it. The story opens up for MegaMan 12, no surprise there. Final total play time according to my save, 2:49:27.

The robot masters were just fun all around. Their double gear modes really make the fights intense. I saw a friend play in Superhero Mode (the highest difficulty). There are no health drops in stages. You need to buy a certain item just so enemies will drop them. Enemies hit harder, and the bosses are faster.

My favorite weapon was the Bounce Ball. All the weapons have many uses throughout the game. As for favorite stage that has to go to TorchMan. The setting and mini-boss are great.

There's a shop with 3 pages worth of items, but certain items unlock as you fulfill goals. I found bolts rather easy to obtain so I was able to buy quite a few things.

Overall I really enjoyed it, and recommend it to any fan of the series.
