It's a valid excuse because if multiple games in a franchise are selling poorly, then it's too much of a risk to invest money and resources in another one when there's a strong chance it won't earn a profit

The problem with this excuse is theyve gotten into the habit of seemingly purposefully making garbage games for franchises they want an excuse to kill off and then acting surprised when sales tank. All of them have a formula that would work, Nintendo just refuses to do anything with it.

The mistakes go back about ten years, when they released nothing for a whole calendar year other than Skyward Sword. Nintendo should have taken all that Wii profit when the fad was clearly losing steam and started buying up more partner studios to reliably pump out their franchise games. Nobody knows where that money went.

We know there was supposed to be a Kid Icarus game on the Wii made by a third party. They cancelled it because they tried to age up Pit instead if using the Brawl design. Who knows how many more projects like that got canned for similarly dumb reasons, and then they obviously learned the wrong lesson and decided the answer was to keep things in-house with a sparse release schedule instead of risk doing something interesting with a bulkier schedule.

Personally, if Abbotts this desparate to blame ERCOT Im willing to bet they deserve little to none of the blame. Its far more likely the legislature and Abbott himself purposefully blocked them from doing anything to prepare because they want to privatize the system. The Texas GQP has already shown they dont care if people die after all, given the whole old people should be willing to sacrifice to keep the economy open line.
Lets also not forget things wouldnt be near this bad if Texas just fucking signed onto the same grids literally the entire rest of the country uses in the first place.

If we're skipping the 90s (Malcolm in the Middle was a '00s show) then it would be just in time for that era. There's also only 3 episodes left, so only one more within the sitcom confines before having everything come together/go to shit seems about right.

Also, on the topic of Agnes, I feel it kind of gets glossed over that Herb also seems to have some manner of resistance to Wanda's control. Not only did he almost spill the beans to Vision, he also asked Wanda if she wanted him to "change anything" which is kinda similar to how Agnes acted when Vision broke script. He and Agnes (and now Pietro?) are the only Westview residents that show that. Even Dottie just went right back to script when the illusion almost broke from the radio message.

The one thing I didn't get about this episode was why did Tommy get a Quicksilver costume instead of his Speed costume? He's literally the only one that didn't get a costume based on his comics look. Even Billy got a cheap Wiccan costume.

I feel like the commercial spilled the beans. I ate y o magic! Followed by a close up of the parent trap playing in the theatre.

Also in the commercial it gave the kid what he wanted and it kept him there till he died. So it definitely looks like someone or something has trapped Wanda in there to drain her magic.

I totally thought the shark was just gonna straight up eat the kid, honestly.

Yes, those are all real pride flags. Clockwise it's trans, lesbian (this one's harder to recognize admittedly because they have several variations), bi, nonbinary, genderfluid, intersex, pan, and asexual.
The rainbow flag is used both by the community as a whole as well as by gay men specifically. Though the pattern used for the P here is a bit more reminiscent of the progress pride flag.
