most of the other artists Kendrick named knew he was just being competitive, but Drake caught feelings, and since then, they've been sneak dissing each other, even though they might publicly say they respected each other. despite that, they never worked together again but things finally came to a head with First Person Shooter - apparently, someone on Drake's side reached out to have Kendrick be on it, but because, as we now know, Kendrick hated Drake, he passed on it. and after FPS came out, Kendrick seemed to take some exception to some of the lines, since he dissed Drake and J.
