I haven't paid too much attention to Origami King, but I know that battling is no longer a DETRIMENT like it was previously. You dont get experience which sucks ass. You get coins and you buy stronger stuff/collectables with them I think

... but thats exactly how it works in Sticker Star and Color Splash.

So what does Origami King do differently that makes its battles less pointless?

I have 100 dollars right now I could EASILY blow on classic nintendo titles. Perfect Dark, Majora's Mask, Star Fox 64, Super Mario RPG. Nintendo just doesn't wanna take my money I guess

Kinda my same thought process. Id be willing to buy quite a few of their older titles.

Yeah, Nintendo doesnt currently have a virtual console you can buy games off of... for some reason.

I keep pointing this part out. This logic makes less than zero sense, Nintendo. Sticker Star, Color Splash, and Origami King are cut from the same cloth. Youre doing the same thing.

For some reason I dont think this will. This looks very similar to Color Splash but the fan reaction to it is shockingly different.

I cannot fathom how this works. Why do they think Color Splash did so poorly? Did they completely and utterly disregard the complaints that were rampant at that time?

Its definitely bizarre. You cant simply support the game or the characters without the Smash boards immediately assuming youre trolling or something. Theyve become very jaded.

Super Mario RPG is a really fun game and Geno was one of the most interesting characters in that game. And he has great move set potential.

Super Mario was a good game that was barred from being great by the annoying traversal, particularly in Flipside.

While I used to hold this belief, I had to eventually acknowledge that its human nature to want to congregate into groups. Thats why Id rather advocate for more groups being involved than just two.

Lol Miyamoto has way less power recently than ppl like to think. Sometimes devs just make a bad decision, and that's about it.

But why do they keep repeating the same bad decisions in the sequels? They had to have heard of the outcry after Color Splash.
