Sekiro virtually is Tenchu. The partnership between From and Activision was with the intention of being a new Tenchu game before they added so much that it evolved into its own ip.

It's was always meant to be a 5+ game series.

If you've played or watched someone play a Shenmue game you know damn well that shit could be cut down, but Suzuki doesn't seem to understand brevity. It would make sense to have all those sequels if they were coming out consistently every 2-4 years since 2.

Shenmue 3 doesn't even have gameplay improvements since 2. Someone said it's a dreamcast game with a fresh coat of paint and I couldn't really disagree.

I just found out yesterday that Shenmue 3 isn't even the last game in the series. Almost 20 years waiting for a sequel and Suzuki doesn't even give fans an ending. He says he wants more sequels even though 3 barely got made..

This is almost Mighty No 9 levels of shady. At least fans like Shenmue 3 I guess.

I really love these ideas honestly.

I dropped League ages ago since my friends all quit, but I genuinely really liked the world and characters and stuff. I've always said that I'd be interested in other games in that universe. I'll definitely keep an eye on these.

I quit League because I sucked and it was toxic, love tft though so I'll probably give the fighting game a chance.

You guys are so focused on the art style and looking at this at the most surface level.

The player character animations are 99.9% the same.

And you guys mention genre, but other games in this category play similar, but don't usually look alike.

Contra looks nothing like gunstar heroes and neither looks like cuphead.

Look at the dashing, jumping and shooting in the trailer. You can even make a case against boss movement of the robot being exactly like the one in cuphead.

that's the thing. games like this have existed. Contra is a game like this....its just that the theme of it is super close.

The problem isn't the pit bulls themselves, it's the image they give. They are seen as a tough, cool, and manly dog.

This attracts some of the worst people who have no business owning any pet, let alone one as potentially dangerous as a pit without the proper training.

It's sad and nothing will change any time soon.
