One of the users complained about how the Emperor used lightning because "There was no indication before that the force could do stuff like that"

in a bunch of scenes in the prequels when palpatine is in public there's a bald lady named sly moore always hanging around with him

i always assumed they were a thing

and also it's hinted at times that palpatine can glamour himself via the force or other means.

All Legends content still exists in print. It's perfectly possible for you to make that canon
