I dont think anyone has the right to call someone something they dont want to be called. Am I hypocrite and call people things they dont like unrelated to this thread? Yes. I have. Ive gotten angry and called people some nasty things.

Theres an example in the OP. Dude didnt wanna be called that and clearly people thought it was ridiculous and called him that anyway.

Happens to trans people any time someone calls them by their biological sex and then refuses to call them otherwise.

Happens in unrelated bullying scenarios in too many ways to list.

What are you supposed to do if you dont wanna be called something. Doesnt matter the reason behind it, you just dont like it. But, if you say something about it people will just call you weak and fragile for saying something about. Theyll go through mental gymnastics to make it okay to laugh at you while being sympathetic to the ones they agree with when something similar happens to them.
