Once we passed a million, total cases seemed to fall by the wayside in terms of discussion

you can't be serious. You can't eat indoors in some states still all because of case counts...meanwhile these same states have gone several days with 0 deaths. So yes - cases apparently matter. They're also the driving force behind said states pushing for mail-in voting.

Additionally you also have people in the official coronavirus topic still freaking out when there's "spikes" anywhere. So again, cases are still apparently a big deal.

Grab the guy. They were close enough and numbered enough to overpower him without the use of a gun. He literally walked to his car and at least one officer was right on him. He was resisting at that point by disobeying their commands, so they would have been able to grab onto him.

It happens all the time when it's not an incompetent or inexperienced officer.

and then if they're too rough on him you guys will still cry police brutality. and the perpetual cycle of rioting and protesting would continue.
