Whole series was great. Glad they focused more on the journey and the relationship between Ellie and Joel and less on a bunch of action sequences. I feel they balanced things well from the game.

Oh that reminds me. Not a final boss issue as much as it was an every boss issue but that is something that bugged me about Human Revolution when it first came out. You could do a full pacifist run except for the bosses. They ended up patching it so you could complete a full, actual pacifist run though

Many of the best shows I've seen don't really grab me until several episodes in. Not a good idea to quit a show because it doesn't immediately captivate you. Often times it takes longer than that. IMO

Yeah most dramatic series have at least one introductory episode to set the table. I don't think it's fair to criticize any dramatic series without trying to make it through like two or three episodes.

That said, to each their own. Perfectly fine to dislike this show. It's been great imho but nothing can please everyone so there's bound to be people who don't like it.

At its core it's yet another zombie apocalypse, a concept which has been getting absolutely milked dry over the past several years. I could totally understand someone firing up episode one and going "Oh, this again?" and checking right the fuck out

I have three outside (Front door, back door, and garage). I would never set one up inside my home. I even make sure to close the shutter on all my webcams when I am not using them.

Same I would use them outdoors only. I have no desire to record anything with them. Basically use them to watch animals in my yard.

I have a Blink brand camera that I set up to watch some house wrens nesting but it's currently turned off since the nest has been vacated. I'm sure Blink is no better than Ring in regards to privacy and information security.
