Season 1 covers the weakest section of the story (and kind of bloates the flashbacks longer than they're supposed to) but the short arc the movie covers is great and the following Entertainment District arc is great too. As for this movie as piece of cinema the music direction, pacing, art, action are all fantastic. Demon Slayer has a simple plot with a simple premise but it executes the story beats exceptionally well that the conflicts and tension are enthralling. |
