Nintendo has been like this forever.

They'd rather have an iron grip on their IPs and have absolute control over exactly what is said about them rather then get lots of free marketing. It's a very Japanese approach, that being said Disney has a similar attitude.

In most cases, the DMCA isn't legitimate, the company just wants to harass the content creator into stopping by removing monetization, or screwing them over in the algorithm, they don't want to actually respond to a counter claim and take it to court.

But if a company keeps doing this it discourages the videos from being made altogether, which is the goal.

guilty until proven innocent

The Bayonetta voice actor thing just happened, people have learned nothing (not that I expected anyone to).

Being accused of a crime means just that, being accused of a crime, we the public, don't have much more information on the case other than that. The trial has not even happened yet.

The accuser has additionally requested and been granted anonymity, making judging the credibility of the accusation even harder.

I don't know if Justin Roiland is secretly a monster or not, but I know there isn't enough credible public information to prove it one way or another.

Stop jumping on bandwagons.

So apparently, before this movie was announced, or it made public it existed at all, there were rumors that there was an Indiana Jones movie in the works that dealt with time travel, and Indiana Jones would travel to the past, and be erased in the past and a young women, his apprentice or something, would take up his mantle and replace him, which is how they'd continue the franchise without a straight recast.

And now there are rumors, that the test screening was a disaster, and they are now reshooting things.

Again, rumors.

iirc almost all financial experts recommend taking the lump...

That's because you can invest the lump sum for more profit. It's a no brainer. There is no scenario taking the separate payments is preferable unless you refuse to invest the money in any way.

CNBCs Deirdre Bosa interviewed two people who identified themselves as Twitter employees and were seen near the companys San Francisco headquarters carrying cardboard boxes.

Skepticism immediately emerged on social media. One of the pranksters said his name was Rahul Ligma a reference to a popular internet meme and held a copy of Michelle Obamas book Becoming aloft while speaking to reporters. The other said his name was Daniel Johnson.
