Depends on what you call winning. Outsmarting Dormammu could be considering the same as winning in that you're exploiting his weakness in order to gain what you want. A physical win (such as defeating your enemy in battle) is more emotionally satisfying but a psychological defeat (ie winning a battle of wits) can be just as great a rush as far as ego's concerned.

Onigiri is good, depending on what's inside. Had a Japanese beef bowl that I like to order from time to time but don't remember its name. Recently a Japanese dessert shop opened in our area and sells these Japanese cookies shaped like fish (not sure what the name of those are either) and souffle pancakes.

The sad thing is it's going to lead to even greater economic equality. Companies are just going to pocket all the savings while your average folk will struggle to find a lucrative job. And with financial hardship will come further declining birth rates, and before you know it, we'll be living in a society where androids outnumber the humans. Just like something out of the Twilight Zone, humans will become obsolete.

I look at it more like the scene in Steven Spielberg's movie "AI" where they have sexbots because men and women don't want to be bothered with having relationships with one another any more. Or Skynet from the Terminator movies or even Viki from I, Robot. Or even the computers from the Forbin Project, a movie made in the 1960s that is starting to get a lot more attention recently.

You are so lucky. To show their appreciation for our work, my company gave us a fifteen dollar Chick-fil-a gift card, which is about enough to buy one Chick-fil-a dinner.

SNL did a sketch on just this subject a few months ago, with a couple at a restaurant getting shafted because the restaurant was using "dynamic pricing". In the end the couple tried to leave but the restaurant charged them for making the reservation and leaving (peak price of course); so they were basically forced to stay and pay for their higher than normal priced meal. Seems to me like a good way to keep everyone other than the rich from visiting any restaurant.

For the longest time I had 'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder as a ringtone. Now the only tone my phone has is the generic ringtone that comes with the phone because I'm too lazy to pick any tune for a ringtone.

In Florida, the last time I asked, car mechanics charge $100 per hour for labor (or at least the garages and/or car dealerships where the mechanics work do at any rate). Makes me wish that my brothers and nephews, who do work on cars on occasion, would move down here but, since they haven't, I'm forced to have a garage change my car's oil.

yeah, one of his runs he only got around like 330m, which even if he managed to get that again, it doesn't cover any of his legal fees, except for, i think, the initial carrol defamation, definitely not the 2nd one, though

That's why he's selling those tennis shoes of his at four hundred dollars a pop, as gaudy as they are. Sell enough of those and that's a start to getting the money he needs.
