VI Dragons wins this handily methinks. Gen I Electric is a bit overrated. Outside of Raichu and Zapdos with Jolteon in a fairly distant third I kinda stop caring. Every other Electric mon is just along for the free ride. Well aside from the mascot of the anime, but that's its own can of Wurmples.

Meanwhile, there's not a single Dragon from VI I would describe as mediocre. A couple of the Megas are a bit overdesigned, but at least none of them are boring.

Absolutely yes. Mufasa is probably one of my favorite patriarchal figures of all time. He is most certainly my favorite Disney Dad; and, because of this, I won't be attending Mufasa: The Lion King when it debuts later this year.

Disney and its live action frenzy has already tarnished the legacy of one of my favorite childhood films once before, and I won't sit idly by for two hours and some change (probably) so they can butcher one of my favorite childhood characters as well.

Yeeeeah... given that I'm making maybe 65% of the rounds and bungling trades even when I'm in attendance, I can't really commit to that at this point in time.

For sure I'll be less flaky down the line once Beastars is my last anthropomorphic horse in this race but for now I think it best to play casually.

Sorry, sorry everyone. My save was up and after missing half the round I panicked. Honestly as long as Beastars is safe I don't really care. A DBZ save would be nice right about now though.

I threw VII a pity vote because let's be real the legendary bird trio and Scyther alone clinch this for Gen I. I has a lot of bloat, NGL. Did there really need to be THREE Normal/Flying lines and a solo Normal/ Flying in the same generation ALL modeled after real life birds? That's rhetorical, but the answer is absolutely not, but I of course gets a pass because it was the pioneer. I'll never understand why Gyarados and Charizard got /Flying over /Dragon secondary, but at least that's rectified with their Megas so it is what it is. The more I think about it the less I think my VII vote was completely out of pity... Those Bugs are solid!

Oh cool, I saw the mnk and Sheep posts and thought I was on Bizarro Board 8 for a moment there. I'm glad I'm not actually in the minority for thinking both these rosters are pretty good. Yeah there's some mediocre bloat, but III as a whole has a great pokmon selection I think anyway.

Wow it's tied at 19 a piece currently! I knew this would be a close one, but I didn't think it would be this much of a barn burner!

I'm sorry for your loss regardless of how close you were or weren't. I sympathize with that surreal feeling...

Around covid's peak I had a great aunt I had only met twice in my life pass, and this was only a year after seeing her that second time, so the memory of her was still fresh. She seemed nice, but I just didn't know how to feel about her passing. Regret for not knowing her better I suppose, and sorrow for her immediate family for losing someone so precious to them. It made me worry a lot about my older relatives I'm in good contact with. Our time on this earth is so limited. Yeah...
