Have you considered the military? A lot of people are joining in their late 20's and early 30's now for specifically that: starting over.

Our generation is an interesting one. People trying to go about things the right way: College, job, marriage....

...but it doesn't pan out. So much debt. Can't find a job. Failed marriages. Dead ends.

And your youth is only slipping away each day.

If you are healthy and at all disciplined, I highly suggest checking the military out. They'll take care of everything, pay for everything, and all you have to do is be....willing to move. And die. But we won't really focus on that last part.

I don't think I've ever encountered a DLC that ruined the story for me in some way. Not that I can think of off the top of my head anyway.

Every DLC I've ever bothered to purchase was always for a game I loved in the first place, and it always offered more content and a reason to keep playing.

Sure, it's a cash-grab, and people get butthurt about that nowadays....but hey, the more content the better. As long as it isn't saturated in microtransactions or features are locked behind paywalls.

I actually really hope in Endgame they have the balls to show some scenes where people around the world are actually kinda impressed and thankful for what Thanos did. Or at least acknowledging the up-side to some degree.

Maybe TVs in the background with a journalist talking about how there are no more food shortages around the world. How traffic has dramatically decreased. People in Hong Kong can see the stars in the sky at night for the first time in 100 years. War and conflict dramatically decreased. Pollution at an all time low. Trees growing in places where trees never grew.

I mean, as heartless as the "snap" was.......there is no doubt that there would be CONSIDERABLE benefits to it.

The planet would be letting out a big sigh of relief.

Doesn't seem like much of a sacrifice, considering Jesus didn't go to Hell for all eternity.

A true sacrifice would have been that Jesus goes to Hell for all eternity, and humanity can live however they want...and will still be guaranteed Heaven when they die.

The fact that we need to "accept" what Jesus did.....it silly as fuck.

Like we just need to make some conscious/emotional/mental/spiritual decision.....while sitting on the couch, or riding the bus, or reading a magazine at the dentist's office......and we are given the keys to Heaven's Gate....

It's so incredibly stupid, illogical, childish, and disturbing. I don't understand why more people don't question the process.

When I was 7 years old, and my brother was 9....we would go to Sunday school with our dad. We weren't exactly a religious family, but my dad would go because there was a woman he liked there. We'd tag along. Plus they had free donuts and juice in the morning.

Well, one day we were all singing Jesus songs and making crafts and stuff....and it was pretty harmless stuff. It was just nice kinda socializing with kids sorta the same age as me.

But then the teacher lady kinda started getting into some preachy boring stuff. Trying to integrate it into fun lessons and sandwich it between crafts and games so we didn't pick up on the indoctrination that was clearly taking place.

My brother was super intelligent for his age. He was in all the gifted programs and stuff. He was 9, but he was reading at a college level.

I remember he raised his hand and asked a question about the lesson. It was harmless. He was just pointing out how one thing she just said kinda contracted something she said earlier in the day. I don't even remember what it was. I just remember how defensive the teacher got. She took my brother out of the room, then came back a few minutes later. My brother was gone. I didn't see him for the rest of the day.

At the end of the day I saw my brother with my dad and his face was really pale. I asked him what happened, where did they take him?

He didn't want to talk about it for a while, but eventually I got it out of him:

He said the teacher took him to this side room where there were like 5 adult guys, he guessed priests, just kinda standing in the middle of this very blank and empty boring room. The teacher left him in there alone with these strange guys. He said they all got around him in a circle and all bowed and placed their hands on my brother's head. He said they started praying for him and repeating over and over, "God please end this boy's doubt" "God please end this boy's doubt" over and over.

He said it felt like an hour, but it might have only been like 10 minutes. But it was creepy as fuck.

Then they just sent him out to the main room where my dad was having "adult" mass with everyone else.

It traumatized my brother for years and made him hate religion.

In my opinion....more pregnancies should be terminated. Because most humans are idiots.

I know that sounds heartless, but why should a child be shoved into this world by the lust of two irresponsible parents who genuinely didn't want the child in the first place and will most likely cheat on each other or separate within a few months/years anyway? It's a recipe for criminality. And neglect. And abuse. And depression. Bad parenting. Bad kids. Vicious cycle.

Broken homes caused by broken people. And a poor innocent kid thrown into the mix because those two broken people decided to fuck.

And you think that kid will be better off by being forced to be born and then just get magically adopted by some educated wealthy family? HA! You've been watching too many movies.

Many studies have shown that orphans grow up just as messed up, if not worse. Why should that kid be forced to be born and put up for adoption and be raised by two genetic strangers? Not a lot of people like to say this out loud, but when a kid is not genetically yours....you love it less. Maybe on a subconscious level, but it's still there. When kids get adopted, they don't stay with that first family forever. They tend to bounce around to different families for a good chunk of their youth. No stability. No consistency. No love. And it breeds criminality.

Besides, people shouldn't be raising other people's kids. People should be raising their own kids. Or not having them in the first place.

And we all know people aren't going to magically stop having sex anytime soon.

So if birth control won't do it, abortion will.

Quality of life. Not quantity.

Imagine for a moment....if all across the planet.....starting tomorrow....the ONLY children that were born.....were from educated and loving couples who genuinely wanted the kid and planned for it?

The world would be a utopia.

Sadly, the people who tend to have the MOST kids....are the ones who are the LEAST educated, the most selfish....and certainly didn't "plan" on having kid (assuming they wanted one at all).

Those kids would have been better off aborted.

The problem arises when all Muslims are painted as misogynists (or radically violent), because that sort of attitude hurts the many that are perfectly nice people. Sadly, in these overly politically correct times we live in (and with a lot of subtle propaganda in the media and entertainment)....criticizing Islam has become impossible.

You just aren't allowed to do it....otherwise you are being "racist".

Hell, even in places like India, when women menstruate...they are kicked out of the family home and have to live in "menstruation huts". Basically a dog house. Dozens of young women die every year in these menstruation huts from snake bikes and smoke inhalation when they try to make fires to stay warm! Do you ever hear Women's Rights protestors in America complain about that kind of oppression? Of course not. Because to criticize Indian culture would be "racist".

They use the assumption of racism to protect their religious immorality.

I would have absolutely NO PROBLEM with that at all!!! :)

Especially considering that 4th mysterious Horseman (who we, like, barely ever get a decent look at) is known to wield guns and have a sleek character model.

I think that would be an awesome idea. FPS through Heaven and Hell, shooting the shit out of demons and angels. Bring the whole series to a climactic conclusion.

I'm really excited for Darksiders 3 in like 10 days. Loved the first two. A little concerned because I heard the development team is only like 1/3 the size of the team that made the second game.....but it should still be good.

Get one person to pry the two pieces of wooden fence the cat's leg is trapped between in opposite directions.....while a second person....with heavy duty gloves....lifts the cat upwards and away from the fence.

No damage done to cat or the fence that way.

If you don't have a second person to help you out, I suggest just manning the fuck up and grabbing the cat and slowly pulling it upwards while maybe using your other hand to try and push the wooden fence pieces apart to make room for the cat's leg.

I'm basing this on a general group of friends and aquiantances (magic the gathering really gets you a large group of people you know/hang out with) in my area (Olympia), but yeah, women especially under 30 right now, are often more free, and less likely to want a serious relationship.

To the point where the guys are complaining about it lol. They are certainly not slut-shamed at all anymore, and it has almost become the norm at this point. You even see them actively seeking out new "boys" etc.

In a crazy twist that is hard to believe, these same women actually slut-shame guys who sleep around lol, while not accepting anything like that themselves (I have seen it).

For the guys, it's the older ones (nearly 30 or just past it) who are actively looking for a real relationship after casually dating for a decade or more, that are really having a problem.

All I can say is the dating scene is WAY different then it was 20+ years ago when I dated last. Not sure if it's a good thing or not, but the 18-30 year olds seem to mostly have no concern at all about STDs. They joke about it even.

My current flip phone is 7 years old and still going strong. The one I had before it was my mother's old one, and it stopped working (a little rubber pad near the microphone degraded and plugged up the hole, meaning I couldn't make calls on it) at the ripe old age of 13. My current one still works, so I still use it.

They truly are superior. Don't have to worry about cracked screens. They hold a charge for like a solid week! And texting was easier. I was like a machine sending Morse code with that sucker. And since you get that satisfying click with each number, you could text in the dark from memory of what characters each click would give you.

I miss my flip phone!!! It was the best conversation starter! People always teased me, or assumed I was a drug dealer. Had a flip for 10 years. Finally had to upgrade last summer because work related group texts with multimedia messages and emojis wouldn't display and caused my phone to get really hot and display jibberish. Now I have a cheap ass $30 smart phone. I hate it.
