Was it just because of the financial crisis dominating people's attention? Because even if no measures at all were taken to stop it, it would still take thousands of years to actually have an effect. And honestly the show was really never that good. It's had some good highlights but the full vids are boring as hell. I'll never understand how people can sit and listen to them drone on about their latest convention, live show, or their last vacation. If it wasn't for Arin's occasional breakdown or the rare occurrence Dan lands a joke there'd be nothing to watch. | Herugrim 06/27/19 11:24:02 PM #9 | First off make sure you watch Kai. The original show was pretty badly padded and poorly translated. Second, it isn't a show you are supposed to take seriously. It's an action/adventure series generally targeting a younger demographic. Turn your brain off and it's a pretty fun ride. Third, watch dragon ball first. All the good character development is there. I'm a huge fan but I wouldn't call it one of the best anime ever. Generally I find most anime to come off a bit pretentious, they often try to comment on deeper themes but come off missing the point and trying to hard to be artistic. Dragon Ball is pure fun and flashy fights through and through. The vegetables are at war with the fruit and the freezer is the boss. No Balls! The first two are ps classics and are easy to get digitally. 3 was rereleased digitally on PS3 4 was rough around the edges but has a companion game in Suikoden Tactics. 5 was easily the best of the bunch, brought everything back full circle. --- John Watson: "Well it isn't obvious to me." We have emission tests, in depth systems for animal treatment and recovery. The whales didn't go extinct. There's still snow on Mount Everest. The world isnt going to end in 12 years. That's a myth. But the people in the middle East getting stoned to death for being gay, slavery and starvation rampand in Africa. These are real problems that aren't going anywhere. The polar caps aren't melting.
