Aka, they straight up lied about it and are scamming people but would rather just give you another 5 year license instead of dealing with the hassle of a class action lawsuit.

I wouldn't trust a company that pulls this stuff. Switch over to Proton, way better services and a subscription gets you a lot.

Sounds reasonable? I don't feel like partisan politics should remotely play any role in requesting and providing federal aid for disaster relief situations, you're playing with human lives at that point.

Shouldn't even be a question for conversation

It's not easy.

I only visited my father in the hospital once, because he was dead before he left the house, he lasted less than an hour after they shut off the machines.

I wasn't there for that because watching my father die in front of me twice in three days was something I couldn't do.

It's an intensely personal thing, but I think you're making the right calls.
That's hard man I am sorry you had to go through that. I last saw my dad a year before he passed. He got injured and was in a physical rehab center for a month and my oldest brother told me I had to help so I spent a month with him and helped him get to an assisted living home. That brother never did show up. Had the gall to ask for 1000 dollars when driving *by* the area, I gave the money no questions asked, he didn't even stop for a day to say hi to dad.

It is surreal being here. My mom is in a hospice routine at home so we are in the living room where I grew up doing homework on the floor with the stray cat, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune through the mirror in the China cabinet in the kitchen, playing on my first computer and playing N64 and dreamcast and PS2. Having friends over or going to their house. Just a ton of memories and now we are at this point.

Thank you all for the support and kind words. I just sent emails out to my college professors explaining why my work isn't getting done, one already responded that it's no problem so that's good. Just a lot of shit to stress about

"Why are you on CE right now dude wtf" - It is physically and emotionally draining sitting in one spot and holding a passing person's hand for hours at a time, I need a few minutes to catch my breath.

I'm exhausted though. My mom's husband is doing the majority of the work administering medicine and when i am here he can get up and do things to refresh a little. My one brother came for a day to say goodbye and left. My sister and other brother have not come up. I feel like at least one of the kids should be here with her though.

Anyway I hope no one has to experience this any time soon but if you have questions or anything let me know. I still have a lot of questions but no one's tried to plan anything for the past 15 years and now no one wants to resolve anything until the passing so that's exhausting too.

What I would say is even if you're not going to be there for the whole process at least give yourself more time than you think. I've been here since Sunday. Growing up and even in my adult life my mom has always done all the talking so I always just listened. Now she can't talk and I struggled for the first couple of days to think of what to say. Yesterday I finally had the emotional strength to share memories and gratitude for different things without completely choking up. So if I just came for a day like my brother I wouldn't have been able to do that

Imo you're better off playing Grim Dawn (great story) or Path of Exile (great gameplay), or trying out Lost Ark which does get grindy and micro transactiony at some point but up until then it's a good ride with interesting classes to choose from.

Diablo was good at establishing the genre but it hasn't been interesting since 2, and that was mostly because there wasn't anything else on the market to compete with it.

I played it for two days at launch and haven't touched it since. Maybe things change after Act 1 but I was underwhelmed at the copy-paste settings, like there's always the same basement and the same little fortress mini-dungeons and the world felt bland.

Also I was kind of spoiled by other games, especially Lost Ark, and the gameplay flow between characters in D4 didn't feel that great, interesting or novel.

Overall just a bland game which is a shame because the cinema scenes and story felt like they had promise.

Supernatural is fucking awesome and yeah it got boring during like seasons 7 - 9 or 10 but then it picked up again and finished *really* strong.

I loved the premise of the series ending itself but it did miss the mark in one big area. MAJOR SERIES SPOILERS I'm not religious but the idea of "killing god" seemed like a very controversial concept, especially for a CW show. I like that they found a way to carry the spirit on. Overall it just felt like a very tasteful way to tackle this concept while... still killing god.

I did not like that they end up with "everyone they love" at the end, but it's like... just them. Not their parents or other key characters from the show's history. It fell very flat.

Jensen and Jared are 100% on board with another season, too, they just want to make sure it carries the same character as the original series and fits their work schedule.

Elementary school yes. Had a girl push me down and stand on me in the playground, sometimes girls would tease me and take things from me (like my pencils and erasers). I remember one girl was trying to be nasty and told me she didn't trust me around her test, but her plan backfired miraculously when she wrote over everything with pencil just to erase it all...

There was about a one month period in middle school where a group of kids would throw rocks at me as soon as I got off the bus.

Middle school and first two years of high school I hung out with a group of guys who treated me like shit and I don't know why I stuck with them. They always thought I was stupid, never laughed at my jokes, and I was often the butt of their jokes. Only now realizing maybe that's why I have some serious confidence issues.

I also had one off events happen in high school, like one time a kid pushed me onto the stairs for absolutely no reason. Or walking back from lunch a car gunned it into the wrong direction of traffic right towards me. Or another time walking back to school a girl threw a raw egg at my head.

I think that's about the majority of it. I regret not spending more time in middle school with positive influences and I ended up spending a fair amount of my time in high school as a loner, sometimes "visiting" and just watching different social groups at lunch if I was bored.
