There are numerous other boards and sites on the World Wide Web. What benefit do you or anyone in a similar position to you get from staying on a board where your reputation is broken beyond repair when its insanely easy to start over on another board or site where people dont know you?

I am going to ask again. Why would you, or ANYONE love a place where you have a broken reputation? Im thinking of a real life counterpart. Would you love walking into a room where everyone stares at you with nasty looks and whispers horrible things behind your back? Or just say the horrible things directly to your face? Why would you not prefer to walk into a room where no one bats you an eye?

So, again, what makes you love a board that straight up has no love for you?

I won't, I've been given a pretty clear heads up that my odds are slim because of my grades, and that my safest bet is one of the prep schools or the foundation program.

I'm definitely gonna just apply next year if I don't end up liking my plan b

I did get nominated for West Point and Merchant Marine Academy,
Didn't apply to Air Force Academy

but damn. All my hard work and efforts for nothing. There's still one Senator who hasn't released nominations yet, so there is still slight hope for me but that was the interview that I did the worst on so my expectations are low.

I dunno. this is kinda bumming me out after all. I spent a week at Navy in their Summer Seminar program, it was hands down the best experience of my life.

I'm glad I at least got one for the other academies, but damn was I really hoping for USNA. guess I gotta change my sig now
