Well I highly doubt we're ever seeing WW3 for the same reason we'll never see WarGames, which is because WWE prioritizes floor seating over the extra ring for monetary purposes. Obviously WW3 further exacerbates that issue.

Would argue it's even worse than that. No offense to Perfect but at least he wasn't a world champion level guy playing down-- he was an IC level guy fighting at the IC level.

It's kinda like in say 1995 if you had Bret Hart still languishing in the IC title scene after he'd won the world championship a few times in years prior, and had the Dumpster Droese as your champion.

Fun Fact: until Triple H in 2001, Pedro Morales was the ONLY former WWE Champion to hold IC afterwards

Chemistry is weird. Eddie/Benoit never had great chemistry. Cena/Orton have proven time and again that they don't really have much. Sting had great chemistry with Flair, Vader, and Lex Luger of all people but was shit with almost anyone else.

I think everyone assumed KO was #1 heel from day one. I know I did. He just came off the Universal title run, was dealing with the US title, and WWE was dumb and moved Bray to his now destroyed role as midcard scarecrow dummy.
