I know people who made $100K a year and had nothing to show for cause they bought a bunch of expensive toys for their kids and travelled a lot.????? I was fortunate enough to find a house and only had to put down $2500. That was outside of inspections, the title, and repairs. It took me having to find a $20+ per hour job to be able to save while not having kids and paying half on rent.
