This actually gives me a weird idea. What if you just don't have a maximum health? Sure, you start at 100 but when you pick up a health pack at that number, you increase to 130 instead of just leaving it on the ground.

Seems to me this would have its own drawbacks in that players might play recklessly and it would turn what could otherwise have been a series of fights for your life into a marathon, but it's an interesting thought at least.

I believe Doom did that in the early days.

I could be wrong, it's been a very long time since I've played that game.

It did allow you do go above the Default Starting 100 HP.

Or you could make a door close behind them so they don't backtrack. But at that point you're trying to compensate for flaws that system naturally has.

Or add in fully destructable environments & have a inventory system so you can carry health packs with you so you don't have to back track.

There are currently 2,442,270 electric vehicles registered in the United States.
Tesla has a 56.5% market share for EVs sold in the United States.

Tesla has ~= 1,379,882.55 EV's registered as of Nov 23, 2023.

Not that far from the 827,000 EV's registered in Jan 1, 2021.

Tesla was created in 2003, has been selling cars since 2008 with it's Roadster & Model S.

They probably see him as a money mark they can fleece, especially if WWE has any interest in them. He guarantees their money, gives them light schedules and if they act like his buddy and gas him and his company up you get treated very well.

Tony Khan is an internet wrestling smark that actually had money to build his own playhouse.

Any a very large & expensive play house it is.

One where you get a "Lighter Work Schedule".

One where you aren't locked into ONLY wrestling for WWE, and nobody else.

One where you can take indie bookings outside of WWE.

It's a very nice "Work Environment".

Imagine, wanting to get paid more, for working a lighter schedule, and still being able to take indie bookings and make money off of that, and the BOSS is OKAY with it.

That's a HUGE PLUS-Side for wrestlers.

I think studying every single potential movement to pick who is right or wrong is a waste of time honestly. Not to fans who care, there are plenty of fans who do care about the truth of the situation.

So it does matter to them.

TK is a pampered rich boy, he probably has NEVER been in a physical fight in his life.
Any sort of "Real Fighting" would be scary to him and he think he was "Endangered".
He wouldn't know how to handle himself since he's not trained & most likely has 0 experience.

Unlike most of the talent he's hired who are trained to fight.

It's a scuffle that would barely register as a big deal in high school between two carnies that lead to one of them leaving the company.

In a professional environment, one that is very corporate like TK is running, he most likely frowns on real fighting.

Trying to base a product around this is where things get into the absurd. Talk about it all they like on podcasts or interviews. Upload it on social media. But hyping this up and showing it during a live show and trying to work an angle out of it when the guy left 8 months ago is sad.

It's what TK wants to do, for better or worse.

But the most important thing is that it highlights who is the real trouble maker.

It's unfortunate for people like Bashir, but I kind of don't see a better solution. Genetic engineering is very often done poorly, leading to complications for people like Jack, Lauren, and the rest. If it's ever both successful and prolific, they begin to unfairly out-compete normal people. And as always, there's the looming threat of making another Khan.

Or maybe, instead of a "Blanket Ban" on Genetic Engineering, just ban engineering specific harmful genetic traits like:
"Increased Aggression"
"Increased Belligerance"
"Increased Ambition"
etc.

Humans naturally already have plenty of those traits, we don't need to amp those traits up in Genetically engineered people.

Thats what the Steam Deck is already doing. Youve also said no keyboard, so this isnt really a laptop anyway, it sounds more like a portable all-in-one with a controller. That means new R&D etc., so I dont see any such device being price competitive with the handhelds or the standalone consoles.

That's MS' job to figure out how to make it Cost Effective.

Not at the price point Microsoft could produce such a product at and expect it to actually sell. A $1000... whatever the hell that would be is DOA. Period.

And to really have a GOOD [for a weak ass gaming laptop] gaming laptop its more like $2000.

The bottom line is theres nothing Microsoft can do. People already have established game libraries, achievements, play histories, etc. on PC or PS, and that alone is enough of a reason to never care about the Xbox ecosystem for anything besides exclusives, which are playable in PC but better there anyway.

It depends on what level of performance you're targeting; if you're not expecting to beat PS6, but to beat the Super Switch & existing XSX|S, then you can precisely target Price/Performance at a reasonable price in the LapTop form factor.

No, thats not what I meant. Yes, the battery life is worthless, but they are incapable of running at full gaming power on battery. Just like the Switch performs worse when its not docked, because you have to lower the power consumption for battery life. At full gaming power, a gaming laptop probably wouldnt last 20 minutes. Thats why none of them do it out of the box.

I know that, that's why I recommend carrying the AC adapter with you.

Its more like 5 or 6, which is a lot compared to a Steam Deck, which coupled with a dock and a controller is just a better version of your made up gimmick.

Depends on how much cooling & extra stuff you want to pack into the device.

But even then, 5 or 6 lbs wasn't a big deal to lug around in a backpack.
I've done it plenty of times. Obviously lighter is better, but you can only go so far before you compromise the cooling solution.
