I actually watched the initial part of the case way back when, and I thought it was really boring! Maybe it picks up but yeah, wasn't that excited to learn about Gregory considering we know everything important about him and that case. I think the Investigations formula at its core just doesn't work for me.

One potential juror ruled out on Tuesday was a man who recently shared an AI-generated video of Trump saying Im dumb as fuck, according to reporter Josh Kovensky of Talking Points Memo. The man had evidently tried to conceal his opinion of Trump during earlier questioning, per The New York Times, and protested that the video was only something he reposted, but Judge Juan Merchan dismissed him.

At another point, tweeted Tyler McBrien of Lawfare, the judge read a meme into the record that seemingly disqualified the would-be juror who shared it. The joke referenced the Thai youth soccer team dramatically rescued after they were trapped in a flooded cave system for more than two weeks in the summer of 2018, when Trump was still in office: Trump invites the Thai boys to the White House, and the boys request to return to their cave.

But jurors didnt have to spell out their specific grievances with Trump to earn objections from Blanche, who said many had digital footprints that contradicted their claims that they could be fair and objective in the trial. He even went so far as to bring up a meme posted eight years ago by the husband of a potential juror, which depicted former President Barack Obama next to Trump, with the caption: I dont think this is what they meant by Orange is the new Black.

No way are people keeping up the Minecraft parody shtick forever. They'll just start posting normally within the next few days.

I feel like this rule is barely going to be enforced outside of the initial Politics topic purge. Like have any of us gotten modded since this went into effect? How does an understaffed mod team even begin to address this when it's so broad it actually INCREASED the scope of their work? Although posts might randomly still get deleted.

One thing I've noticed that people might have missed is that there's a good amount of important characterization dialogue 'hidden' behind presenting evidence to people during investigations. Feels like more than in AA.

There is an announcement on CE that all political discussion is banned outside of CE. What about WOT, which has always been about politics?
I'm not sure how the Religion or Paranormal/Conspiracy boards will survive either, since politics is a major source of both.

Also, we need clarification on what politics encompasses. Does it include:
--Police brutality, judicial reform, etc.
--Criminal cases (e.g. the latest mass shooting)
--Getting single-payer healthcare
--Anti-vaccination conspiracies
--Moon landing was faked conspiracies (since the conspiracy claims that the US government did it)
--Movies with political messages
--LGBTQ rights issues
--Discussion about going to the voting centers/mailing in one's votes
--The glass ceiling, intersectionality, etc.
--Climate change and everything related to it, such as invasive species, weather, hurricanes/wildfires, etc.
--Current natural and manmade disasters, as these always involve government responses
--Bills being mulled by Congress that could affect gaming
--Censorship-crazy countries like China banning X game for Y reason
--Some asshole politician/group/shitty NYT or WaPo op-ed blaming mass shootings on videogames

Which of the above are banned?
