If you haven't, you should play the PS2/older gen version of Double Agent. The combo of that f***ing box ghost and the stories from the spirit crystals seals it for me. 3 is also good for scares like the crawlspace ghost. Is the box ghost the ring girl? I just feel like FF2 has noticeably worse enemy design. Even the returning types: FF2's broken neck girl is a joke for example. It doesn't have a Long Arms from FF1 or crawlspace ghost from 3. FF2 is great for other reasons. Story, setting, level design and pacing.
