No. I'm about as pathetic as a person can be.

A little over a year ago. Took my little cousin to the school track to ride a few times last summer. Never got around to it this summer though.

Car wreck when I was a kid. Seatbelt severed my intestines and the doctors didn't even check me for injuries after. So over the next week or so it grew worse and worse, till I was developing gangrene.

Though, after having surgery to remove the dead tissue, the scarring on my intestines is apparently in a spiral shape, which means sometimes they twist up on themselves and pinch. That's probably #1 actually. It's the only time I've ever passed out from pain. Because I was an idiot and it happened in the middle of the night and I really had to pee. I know not to know be when it happens or it gets worse... But I gently got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. But that was a mistake, the pain that hit me as I went was too much. As I tried making my way back to my room my vision went blurry, my ears were ringing, and the next thing I know I'm picking myself up out of the floor a few moments later.

The next day my parents said they heard me collapse, but went back to sleep anyway. lol

No, it's not that. I'm just super shy and have really bad social anxiety. It's hard enough to have a conversation with someone, much harder to look them in the face while doing it. I tend to try and find something else to focus on so I don't have to make eye contact.

I'm doing better though, I've been forcing myself when I realize I'm avoiding it. But it's not pleasant.

I went back rewatched the Quantumania post credit scene, and that blue Kang variant(the pharaoh?) talks like Victor Timely does. Just in a more raspy voice. The way Victor stalls between his words is the same as that variant.

I didn't remember him doing that, I just remembered the quiet raspy voice. Don't think it means anything though. Unless Victor turns blue and gets sent back in time next episode. lol

Feels almost like Loki is building the TVA and he's the one who "kidnapped" all of them from their lives originally, so it's coming full circle.

I mentioned something similar about last week's episode. It really does look like Loki is going to be the one created the TVA to begin with, and these guys are his first recruits. I said that he probably planted them as behind the scenes time keepers, which then grew to mythical status and that legend got twisted by Kang after wiping everyone's memories(probably to get rid of the real time keepers he couldn't identify). They'd be there from it's creation till it's destruction, or rather "for all time, always."

The only thing is that would put Loki in charge if it all rather than Kang, and idk how I feel about a reveal that He Who Remains scripting events was part of a script written by current Loki. And that's the only thing that makes sense to me at the moment.

But, I'm all for Loki getting actual god status and a power boost. Sure, give him time powers, but in doing so kind of paints him into a corner of why he let things go the way they do.

Idk, guess we'll find out next week. I'll be sad if he loses his new power though. Maybe nerf it, but don't take it away entirely.

i'm 28 and childless just the way i like it. I've been on dates, not a virgin, not really had a long term relationship, but i'm living life on my terms and a traditional family life isn't for me. I've never once felt lonely and like I needed a partner, if anything I like things the way they are lol.

So no need to feel ashamed if being in a relationship isn't your goal.

The thing is, you've found success and gotten what you want out of your dating experience. Some of us haven't. I want to get married and be a dad, and can't even just get a date. It's not even remotely the same situation.

You say there's no need to feel ashamed, but I wonder if you'd have the same opinion if you were 28, never had a date, and were still a virgin. Would the loneliness bother you then, even though what you want isn't the traditional experience? I'm willing to get that it would.

Good episode, I enjoyed it. As always OB is a gem.

I was wondering the same thing. I guess him being absent from the explosion somehow excluded him? Not like Loki or OB would actually know that yet or not.

If only I were more comfortable making eye contact with people.

Also, I love brown eyes. They can be so warm and charming.

My brother's eyes went from blue to brown when he was little. She got so upset because he has jet black hair and she wanted him to keep his blue eyes. I was blonde when I was little and she hoped I'd keep blue eyes. She says she literally started crying when they started to darken up. But she's happy they became this color, especially since I didn't stay blonde either.

Well I don't want to sound like everything is perfectly fine. I do have much of the same issues as you. I just choose to avoid situations that cause me to spiral into that abyss. For me, as long as I stay totally anti-social and never go out with family, I never get negative thoughts. Anytime I try to go out and be around people, that is when I just go into full anxiety and depression mode. So the key for me is to just not try anymore. I know it's wrong but it's the only way I can deal.

I recently went to my brothers wedding and had a major anxiety meltdown once I got home and I basically shut myself in my room for 3 days and barely ate or drink water because It was just that overwhelming to me. Before that I haven't been to any kind of social gathering in many years.

I was also teased quite a bit my aunts about "where's your gf?" "I thought you were the one getting married, not your little brother!" "When's your wedding?" "You're a handsome man! Any girl would be happy to be with you!" which were annoying to say the least.

I see. We're more similar than it originally sounded. Though, I used to be fine with being alone. Until I turned 30/31. That's when I started to realize how far behind everyone I was, and it became a trigger for me to see others succeed. Doesn't really matter where, irl, on here, on TV/movies, in games, magazines, books, whatever.

The envy I feel for others has eaten away at me for years, and I hate it. I hate that I let myself become this way.

I recently turned 40 and am a dateless virgin as well. Also have social anxiety, depression, and several other mental blocks in the way. I don't think I'll ever manage to overcome this or be with anyone. I often get eaten up with envy for others that have found success, and it's not a pleasant way to live.

Thankfully it sounds like you're doing well and have adjusted in a healthy way. Good for you.

So, crazy fan theory time. Almost certainly entirely wrong.

But the "mid season" trailer showed Loki meeting his friends before they were part of the TVA. I'm guessing he's the one who originally recruited this group to begin with and they return to the beginning of the TVA as the timekeepers. The mythical 3 that run it from behind the scenes for all time always. At least until Kang took over, erased everyone's mind to get rid of their control, and created his own set of timekeepers. It's also explain the 4 statues in his citadel. If they were statues of the 4 helping Loki, and OB is the one who brought Kang to power, maybe his statue was broken.

Though, none of that makes sense with how I assume this will end with Loki taking He Who Remains place. Since he would've had to have designed for all that to happen retroactively. Which is dumb.

Now your blood mixed with the concrete and you can haunt that place forever.

obviously he's a fictional character, but the game allows him to express a full range of emotions, so he doesn't feel two-dimensional.

Clive is the best because of how he reacts to npcs giving him sidequests.

Npc: "Clive, I need your help."

Clive: "Get the fuck away from me you piece of shit."

Npc: "I need sugar for my coffee, can you go to a monster infested area and grab me some?"

Clive: "Of course I will, you're a darling sweetheart and everyone loves you. I'll gladly bring you all the sugar you need. It's a pleasure to help."

I think it looks fun, but I've been fooled by upbeat catchy trailers Marvel put out before. I'm looking at you Quantumania and Live and Thunder.

So, I'll still see it, but my expectations are going to be lower. Like, I generally just expect average to good movies from Marvel, and when one is a hit it's a good surprise, but it's an even bigger surprise when one isn't even an average film. >_>

Until a few good ones come out, I think I'll stick with lower expectations for now. Current Marvel doesn't have such a great record for movies I've enjoyed a lot recently.

No. I struggle to talk with most anyone. I just really don't have much to say.

This morning at work, a lady was checking out of the hotel. I asked if she had a nice stay, and she was polite about it but said that she barely slept. So I asked if it was a problem with the bed, or room or something. And she answered "No, my mom died." Then started bawling and ran off. I was just trying to fill in the silence while we waited for her receipt to print. I felt so bad, it made me want to cry too. If I had waited 5 seconds and handed it to her without asking it wouldn't have made a scene. v_v

Reminds me of an encounter I had at work a couple of years ago. A guy comes into the hotel griping that I need to get my cops under control. I was confused so I asked what he meant, and he was angry that he got a speeding ticket.

I told him that they take the limit very seriously in Virginia,vans asked how much over he was going. He said 85 and the limit is 70. So I told him that was quite a bit higher than the limit(I was expecting 75 or something).

Then he said that he's a troop leader for the boyscouts, and that they passed him on the bus while he was pulled over getting the ticket. Said they were pointing out the windows and laughing. Then he was like "How does that make me look to my scouts?! For them to see me like that? They're supposed to look up to me and now they think I'm a lawbreaker because of these cops."

I didn't say anything, but I was certainly thinking that maybe he should've set an example by following the limit and not breaking the law. It's not totally the state troopers fault on that one.

I dunno about yall but in my school experience the bullies and bad kids always got into trouble and was always suspended and shit. They didn't get away with jack shit like how social media portrays them.

Not in mine. The ones in my grade happened to be children of the school employees. It was also a school that put sports above all else. So having these kids not only be excused due to relationships of their parents, but also due to being good athletes, they got away with whatever they wanted. There were basically no consequences for that group.

Admittedly, that was only like 3 kids that fell into that group, but their friends also enjoyed much lesser consequences due to association.

It was the "nobody" bullies that paid for their actions. Like the transfer student that had no association with the main group, and tried selling drugs. He got put down hard and eventually kicked out, where he eventually died of an overdose. That was "expected" and brushed off like nothing. But the drug dealing quarterback who died of an overdose the next year was seen as a tragedy and everyone mourned him for months. Like, why did the other guy's death not matter?

Likewise, one of the most hateful, arrogant, and entitled people in my class. Popular for sports, got arrested for going 80 in a school zone and whipping past a bus that was unloading children. What came of that? All the school employees tried pulling strings to get him out of it. I do think he lost his license temporarily, but I don't recall anything further than that. No one even held it against him because "he suffered enough." No, he nearly killed some kids. At least slap his wrist to show some kind of objection to his actions. >_>

High school was pretty bad for me. But I wouldn't say it traumatized me. More like I was already being traumatized at home and the high school stuff just doubled down on it. It really just agitated me due to things I was dealing with outside.

Though, if I wasn't already in bad shape it likely would've gone it. It was rough.

So, Casey just became the most powerful being in the multiverse. With the magic dampeners out of order, and his drawer full of infinity stones he was collecting. lol

I doubt they'll actually use them, but the end credits do spend time showing them every episode. Looks more like Loki's time skipping/being unstuck from time will be what saves the day.

I know, right? That's all I was getting too. From my experience today it looks like Miles gets more regular crimes than Peter.

Was trying everything else earlier and got frustrated. Out of about 6-7 crimes I only found one in a location that even let me use the webline. Then same problem as before, they somehow knew he was there from ridiculously far away. lol

Can't even get close, I've tried. They become alert to you being there from like 3 stories up.

I'm 2 trophies away from the platinum. Just need to KO some more enemies with Evolved Abilities. Should be simple enough

...the other one though. I never used the web line, and now I need 25 stealth web line takedowns. And the only enemies left are the crimes and I don't think you can stealth those. Gonna have to do a new file just for the one trophy because I was a dingus. lol

when you're learning "galvanize" as Miles, the game kind of freezes since nothing happens when you press the buttons.

I googled it, and there's even an article about it:

to get around it, reload to the nearest checkpoint, and start pressing the buttons for the move as soon as you can.

I was afraid I would have to start over :/

I had that. It also happened during the opening when my cousin played. I just reloaded the checkpoint and it was fine.
