Yeah they banned the Warned / Suspended topics a while ago because the board was being flooded with them and users were just dogpiling on each other in them or something, I don't think a topic like this is banned though, well you never know with all these changes going on atm!!

I understand they want to keep trouble makers out, those who get suspended and the like, but I don't see the harm in allowing older accounts in or those who closed their account then changed their mind, I'm not sure if the final decision about that would lie with Dtoast or that Timmy admin guy though

They used to be super strict with the underage user thing, I want to say someone once got suspended / banned for saying they were a fetus but I'm not sure - I know at one point Allen said if it's clear someone is joking and it wouldn't be reaonable to believe they really were a certain age (a baby for example) then they shouldn't be moderated

The meme "'I'm 12 and what is this" getting people banned, they did retract the banning of that at some point though due to it's meme status

I believe that part of the change was implemented immediately, so anyone who is currently purged / banned will be locked out of CE forever

No, I don't see what the big deal is tbh, CE can still post about politics, purged and banned users won't be able to come back to CE (something people here have been whining about for years) new users don't come to CE anyway so those are irrelevant - as for hornyposting, there's a sex & sexuality board so surely it it's allowed there
