AA 6-3: The Rite of Turnabout

I cried!! This was so sweet. Apparently Tahrust intentionally messed with his last moments so no one else, especially his wife Beh'leeb, would get in trouble.

The additional complication is that Puhray was the Lady Kee'ra rebel hunter. So he needed to be killed for them to be safe.

Lots of twists and turns to get there, I was entertained by Tahrust's channeling and the inability to challenge someone if you don't know their face and true name [very Death Note in a way, lol].

Looking forward to writing up 6-4. See you then!

AA 6-3: The Rite of Turnabout

Went through the first trial: Maya was found guilty of the murder of Tahrust Inmee, and according to the DC Act, that means that Phoenix will also be executed. But wait! There's more! Tahrust's been found to be a rebel, along with his disciple, Puhray Zeh'lot. Unfortunately for the disciple, he has been killed as well... out in the prayer area, stabbed in the spine in the praying position he'd held for the last couple of days.

Now we're investigating that murder and we find a near-ex-rebel whose wanted posters we've had in the Court Record. He used to wear long hair and a beard but he looks clean shaven now and has the most ridiculous eating sprite I've seen so far in the franchise.

I love Maya's new sprites. More to come.

woot woot! congrats! how'd you like 6-2 overall?

Enjoyed it overall, thought it picked up the pace once we had the twin reveal. It was a nice little discovery that made the entire thing pick up steam. Bonny being able to help things along in a material way was a rewarding development - would have been easy enough to let her slip into the background of the case.

Roger Retinz as Mr Reus was great. Not only was he slimy and devoid of ethics, but he was actively chipping away at the morale of our heroes. An example of how even predictable plot twists can still be very satisfying, imo.

AA 6-3: The Rite of Turnabout

Cue ball got killed. Now go home. [hiimdaisy P4 comic anyone?]

Not so fast! Maya is older and supposedly wiser [we have a number of aged-up sprites which still manage to look hilarious and adorable - Maya's a character that has really grown on me over the course of the franchise], but she's still Our Suspect. She went up a mountain to do a purification rite and uh, the High Priest got murderated.

Yes, High Priest Trust Me and his loyal disciple Praise A Lot. Or Pray Zealot. Hoping that becomes relevant, and this is AA, so, of course it will >_>

Rayfa is super pretentious and annoying, but her blushing sprite when we call her out on any ignorance is okay, I guess. Ahlbi is cute but he's around the right amount. Any more and he'd be annoying too. We poke around the crime scene. Snow has been removed, ha ha ha.

There's a variety of details to hold on to, such as it happened during the light of only a full moon and 4 wind-protected eternal lanterns that have been burning for centuries. The Lady Kee-ra robe was freshly purified with incense, too. We could smell it the next day on the fabric so its fragrance must have been quite intense the night of the murder. The victim wears giant bells on his ankles so he would have been able to track at all times, light or not. So, there's plenty of 'tells' about this case already.

We met a weird, bearded bro up in the mountains, we don't have a name on him yet, but we also know that a criminal has escaped a prison higher up the mountain than the murder scene, the last prison escape resulted in the assassination of the queen at the time, and that this current prisoner is still at large. [Now I'm sad that Pearls isn't lost instead, so I could make the Small Medium at Large joke.]

Ema's werking for Prosecutor Sahdmadhi for this case as well, he's returned to the country of Khura'in and is extremely popular. I'm ready to see the grill marks on Phoenix, lol. If the guy continues to be a character I like, maybe there's Sahdmadhi cosplay in my future!!

Boy howdy, have I missed a good, thorough, loooong investigation. At the moment, I'm still talking with Ahlbi and Rayfa in the Bazaar, but it's at least holding my interest. Looking to wrap up this part soon and head to the unforgiving Khura'inese court.

Wish me luck! See you next time!

EDIT: calling it now, Dhurke is going to be my "Oh no, he's hot" for this case lol

AA 6-2 The Magical Turnabout

Initial impressions:
Roger Retinz: stage name, older brother of Manov Mistree?
Suspect the body of Mr Reus was pulled up according to prank script anyway, even if he was dead/unconscious
Suspect the same way Trucy's signature was gathered for the liability waiver is the way she 'signed' that weird memo.
Used Mr Hat to kill someone?? He was misplaced iirc

Roger Retinz IS Mr Reus, Manov Mistree was the dearly departed stand-in, who was The Prestige levels of "looks exactly like the guy from 13 years ago". That kinda took me out of it but the scar reveal was neat.

Body of Mistree was pulled up while pretending to be dead, got skewered for his troubles.

Trucy's signature was copied.

Mr Hat was misplaced so the red herring aka blood ended up on the wrong side. Reus swapped it out but Mistree's fingerprints made it suspect enough to nab Roger Retinz/Mr Reus. LOVED his ending animation, haunted by the Mr Reus character/victim Mistree. That crazy laugh will stick in my mind for a long time.

Next is AA 6-3: The Rite of Turnabout, where we return to a hapless Phoenix Wright, still stuck in the country of Khura'in.

AA 6-2 The Magical Turnabout

We reduce the noise on Bonny de Famme's testimony and boy howdy does she have some WEIRD emotions going on here. APPARENTLY there are twins: Betty and Bonny. Betty has some sass and is pretty aggressive. Bonny, on the other hand, Would Just Like Everyone To Get Along Plz.

We call them out on being unprepared for Mr Reus's fire trick, even to the point of there being a layer of DUST in the fire bucket. :\

Now to solve the mysterious mystery of stabbing the already-dead body?

Lordy.

AA 6-2 The Magical Turnabout

Ema talks about how Mr Reus was going to reveal Gramarye secrets on stage, and had said as much. We claim Trucy's fingerprints were on the tape but she wears gloves to perform?? So that's weird. We suspect murder but by someone else. In a normal case, this would turn toward proving that Trucy's not guilty and being done, but this is the AA universe where instead we're gonna be extra and FIND THE 3RD PARTY KILLER because that's how to exonerate people.

We're pretty sure Mr Reus was killed understage and his body moved, but how?? The only person we have available is Trucy since Bonny was onstage the entire time. We'll get Bonny's testimony next time.

See you then!

Wow, 15 years huh? That's wild considering I only played it in the last 2.

AA 6-2 The Magical Turnabout

Pretty sure there's a rather steep entry level attractiveness required to be a prosecutor in this universe.

Depressing that I just got "Mr Reus"/Mysterious after finding out about his true name, Manov Mistree. You can tell we're a few games in by how desperate the naming board has become. I always imagine they're locked in a room until they can name all these characters.

Sahdmadhi insists on being very Khurai'n and is rather judgey about Apollo & Co. I like that his floating scarf looks like it rotates. He has some Naruto hand jive going on which looks really cool. Sudden chanting appears, what could it mean?

Ema doesn't wanna testify but has to. We'll see what she says next time!

Our favorite Wright daughter is behind bars for now, and it's up to Athena and Polly to investigate. Trucy's black notebook was among the victim's things in the dressing room :\

We catch up with Ema Skye and she gives us the rundown: it's being considered a homicide not involuntary manslaughter. All because some Khura'in monk named Nahyuta Sahdmadhi rolled up and the prosecutor's office is looking rather thin these days. [Edgeworth really cleaned house on all those corrupt prosecutors!!]

AA 6-2 The Magical Turnabout

Trucy is accused of ... involuntary manslaughter in her latest show, Trucy in Gramarye-land! There's a 'bring Mr Reus back to life' bit where a coffin box is supposedly stabbed by a sword but the extant footage doesn't exactly show the point of contact, or the body. But Mr Reus is for sure dead and was stabbed.

This very bad.

The little wooden bro's shadow was flying around a couple of times. I'm sure that will be relevant later. In the meantime, Trucy is safe but Apollo and Athena can't get to her yet. There's also a very sus purple bunny thing which is maybe a red herring but who knows.

Phoenix, Ahlbi and Inga have a little chat, then we go elsewhere.

At this point we return to all our old faves - Apollo "Polly" Justice and Athena Cykes attending the debut performance of Trucy Wright, magician extraordinaire. The show is sold out and we go to visit Trucy during intermission in her extremely cluttered dressing room.

These three are supposed to be holding down the fort while Phoenix is travelling, but if 6-1 was any indication, we're about to hit some big snags.

AA 6-1 The Foreign Turnabout

The blood splatter shows a hand outline, this matches Rohl's blood spattered hand in the photo. Rohl could tell from the weight of the treasure box that it was empty of the orb. Having held it before at a ceremony, he could tell the weight difference. Peeslub'n, however, needed to now get rid of the witness to his crime.

Yoooo Peeslub'n hit Pat Rohl on the head with his flying V and we found out how to secretly open the box. Brutal.

This seemed more involved than other first cases I've played, but playing it once a week will do that lol

In other news, boo! It's spooky season and I've got a discussion question: you get to dress up for Halloween and hang out with the AA character of your choice. Who is it and what are y'all wearing? [budget is no object, we're making MvK pay]

AA 6-1 The Foreign Turnabout

Peeslub'n insists that he found the body of Rohl and this leads us in the direction of Rohl being not only the victim, but the thief. The scroll informed everyone that the temple would have tighter security because of recent thefts. Peeslub'n was down by the breaker, so perhaps he caused the power outage? However, doing that would have left Rohl to be killed in the dark, unless there was some way to shed some light on the situation.

The Treasure Box glows. So we figure if Rohl was holding it [stealing in progress!] then it would be easy to find him in the dark. Time to explore the Treasure Box in great detail. The blood spatter is particularly disturbing in these graphics, can't quite explain why.

See you next time!

Peeslub panics, his face makeup takes on a darker shade in a few places but definitely around the eyes, and speakers pop. He's ready to lay it on us rock 'n' roll-style.

We'll see what he has to say next time!

Yeah, Phoenix is traveling abroad.
Eyyyy, thanks y'all! Knew I could count on you. I was starting to think we clubbed Phoenix over the head again.

AA 6-1 The Foreign Turnabout

We are introduced to the Insight style testimony. There's a few moving parts, there's the visual element of what the victim saw before death, and then spooky floating words that waggle and change size represent the senses other than sight that the victim experienced.

We figure out that although the body ended up in the treasure room, Mr Rohl was not killed there. Something something power outage, speakers playing singing from another part of the temple, Ahlbi had his hands up bc of Rohl's gun being drawn, etc.

Each time Phoenix makes some fair objection, it erodes the integrity of the priestess Rayfa and sets her on a teenage meltdown and she's ejected from court. Wow, we don't usually kick the cute girls out of court in this franchise.

Woodstock Facepaint Sallman [looks like the Sallman painting of Jesus and has an awful name spelling that puns on "Peace, Love and Understanding"] has taken the stand and we'll have to see what he says [do I have to? he is unpleasant to look at].

Wife has reminded me that b8 appreciates theories in writeups. Suspect Woodstock Facepaint Sallman is the real killer? Rayfa is the real killer? Or Rayfa isn't it, but she witnessed it, and is invested in covering for the real killer?

Just once I'd love to see all this swirling around a natural but suspicious death. Poor coroner going, "No, really guys, it's just high blood pressure" or "It was a stroke" and all the AA characters ignoring her because they're focused on DID THIS MURDERER MURDER??

We'll have to see what WFS says next time. See you then!

Turns out the court system in Khura'in is the priestess goddess lady figures out if you're guilty using special divination and choreography. No testimonies, no witnesses, and most of all, no cross-examination. Phoenix protests, almost gets the guide kid killed, and we're off and running!

AAI1-5, Turnabout Ablaze

Wow, y'all. I finished it. A good Miles Edgeworth Investigations was had by all.

Oh lordy Shih-na is Calisto Yew, also an alias! A funky lil' laughing person. We burn part of her coat and it burns green, therefore she did pass through the fireplace and is our person. Also we can compare any fingerprints to her old perfume bottle. Anyway, she confesses to being the Yatagarasu.

AND NOT ONLY THAT.

But the Yatagarasu is not only one person. Y'all. It is 3 people: Byrne Faraday, Calisto Yew, and Tyrell Badd. Between the 3 of them, they had access to all info needed to warn wrongdoers that their wrongdoings would be their undoing!

There's this great moment where Yew-as-Shih-na threatens to kill Kay, and then the camera shifts and Badd is pointing his gun directly at her. Lang jumps in front of the shot ['because she's still my subordinate']. Kay gets to keep some Hair Sticks after this interaction, but they're weird because they have dirt on them. Hmmmm.

Turns out Yew killed Faraday because the smuggling ring needed to get rid of the Yatagarasu. That's the only reason. Real smuggling ring boss is still walking free.

There's a whole bit where the Hair Sticks were supports for Alba's Passionflowers and they were used as Arrows to create a pulley system with the ceiling fans [increasingly unlikely but it's AA logic so it gets a handwave] and swap the Primidux statues.

We crack open the Primidux statue that feels light and liftable, and it's got Counterfeit Plates inside for printing Zheng Fa cashmoneymillions. Alba claims he got wounded while killing DeMasque II in self-defense. Suspich. He runs off and seems agitated. We poke around the lobby of the Theatrum Neutralis, connect some Logic points, realize Alba wanted to pin the smuggling on the now-deceased Coachen.

There's a pic of Alba and Palaeno with their respective flower bouquets and the Steel Samurai/Larry. Alba's bouquet contains the handle of the Allebahstian knife!!

We go through an exhaustive number of Testimonies with the Eternal Quercus Alba. He is not having it, but we figure out that Coachen was killed, stuck in a cart, and moved using the joined pool reservoir and Bilateral Symmetry of the embassy. I find it incredibly difficult to believe that cart with a dead body inside would float but AA asks us to believe it so fiiiiine.

We prove that the Allebahstian knife made the journey because the still-wet Pick is one of the flower petals on the handle and fell off!!

At this point Alba is still being a pain and claims he was at the Steel Samurai show so he couldn't have killed Coachen. He really slips by not only mentioning a special move that was only known among the crew and not used in the final show because of Larry warping the Spear, forcing them to use Sushi Slice instead.

The localization team really enjoys the phrase "peanut gallery".

There's a spot of Alba's blood on a box of Samurai Dogs, turns out the Dogs were in the cart and removed to make room for Coachen's body. The blood was from when he got poked. How did he get poked when no weapons are allowed in the Theatrum Neutralis, you ask? Because of the YATAGARASU KEY WHICH IS ALSO A STABBY KNIFE.

We end with a successful offscreen trial and a super chaotic-adorable selfie taken by Kay of herself, Miles panicking, and Gumshoe having a good time.

The little interviews during the credits are always a good time. I can now admit to y'all that I find Tyrell Badd mmm... handsome. Is it warm in here?

Case ranking time!
Case 4: Turnabout Reminiscence - fun to flashback and also fun to solve.
Case 5: Turnabout Ablaze - ending case but also had draggy moments.
Case 2: Turnabout Airlines - more traditional whodunit.
Case 3: The Kidnapped Turnabout - This one dragged even though it was fun to run around for a bit there.
Case 1: Turnabout Visitor - it's tough to rank the opening case higher than this, really. Unless there's something exciting or different that happens.

Thanks again to colliding for making the game available for me to play.

Ambassador Palaeno talks about how the Primidux Statue shows sovereignty, which is why each country's embassy insists theirs is the real one. Palaeno didn't know Manny Coachen was involved in a smuggling ring. Allebahst and Babahl were on the verge of reuniting if not for tonight's events. Allebahst has the real Primidux Statue.

Palaeno had given Gumshoe a Silhouette Lantern, which burns green with special Babahlese whitcrystal oil, the same substance involved in the Babahlese ink. Kay gives us a weird guitar Pick that's wet and Ms. Yew's Perfume that we saved.

We poke around the Rose Garden and figure out how the "Yatagarasu" could leave a shadow on the wall by lining up various statues with the spotlighting available. Does the Yatagarasu have an accomplice in Babahl?

We get a strange flying photo of the Yatagarasu. lol Lotta Hart reference?

Palaeno attests to green flames, but the bottle of Babahlese ink on Coachen's desk is still pretty full. We match the DeMasque II note shape to a notepad in Coachen's desk - he must have ordered the theft of Allebahst's Primidux Statue.

We use Little Thief to recreate the chaos. Plenty of things have changed since the fires. We find some Wire in the grandfather clock, the big green flame fire was probably caused by the Counterfeit Bills which are printed with Babahlese ink.

The embassies on each side of the building are symmetrical. The fireplace on the other side had a rotating wall. Shih-na came from the room next door after Kay found the recently late Mr Coachen and screamed. We suspect the person Kay was chasing used the fireplace to escape next door [where Shih-na came from, suspich].

The Logic parts here were a little finicky but we got 'em eventually. The ashes Palaeno expected to be there had been pushed into the other room, even more evidence of it being used as a passageway.

Investigation Complete

Gumshoe has the weird note examined by the lab boys, turns out it is in Coachen's handwriting. Edgeworth starts putting the screws to Shih-na on why she didn't see the "Yatagarasu" if she was right there in the next room.

Pretty nifty paired sprites here of Lang and Shih-na as they remove their sunglasses together and point at Edgeworth, claiming her innocence.

We'll have to figure it out next time! See you then!

Not gonna lie, more of Larry and Wendy are somewhat welcome on my end. Do you ever wonder if Wendy was cute when she was younger? She behaves in a way that people would excuse if she was cute.

Larry does a quick run through on his day. Sounds like there's one possibility left - the precious gold statues in each side of the embassy are not allowed to be touched. Turns out through Luminol testing that the statue on the Allebahst side has blood residue, and a handprint on the bottom from Manny Coachen, THE VICTIM from the Babahl side!

It's getting wild now. See you tomorrow!

We go over to the Allebahst section and investigate. The cops in the lobby counted themselves off by 1s which I found hilarious. Lang still isn't being helpful but at least he's letting us look at things.

Larry Butz is the Steel Samurai and Wendy Oldbag is the Pink Princess, standing in when actress Mindy fell ill. We're still recovering from this information.

Miles notes that the identical fancy statue has been rotated from the position it was in - we have a photo of the Steel Samurai meeting Ambassador Alda near the time of the murder.

Larry's spear has obviously bonked on something, it's actually hollow and can't do any damage.

Asdf apparently Oldbag left some stuff in here but claims she had nothing to do with it. She just did the Samurai shodown, ate an alarming number of Samurai dog hotdogs, and that brings us to the present moment.

Suspect the stalker message was from Larry bc the writing matches his Steel Samurai autograph message to Miles?

We discover the fireplace where Oldbag was drying her undershirt is shared with the adjoining room! Troubling!

Investigation Complete

Miles claims Larry is lying. About what? We'll find out next time!

Continuing to play this week. Thanks for reading, y'all!

What are your plans now that the weather is warming up? Which AA characters would you wanna bring along if you could?

I need Gumshoe and the girls [Maya, Pearl, Trucy, Ema, etc.] for a picnic in the park, with a huuuuge basket of all kinds of food.

Possible I might have underestimated how long this will take. So, this week or next, with more consistent play? Idk. My goal is to just not ignore it for 5-7 days at a time, we'll start there

AAI1-5, Turnabout Ablaze

Shih-na gives her version of events, Kay insists that he was dead when she entered the room and turned on the lights. She claims she saw Kay holding the murder weapon.

That ain't it, because the handles can be swapped out. We'll get into it later. This is a terrible update.

See you next time!

A + B = C

Or they're just European sounding country names
Oohhhh. That's legit.

AAI1-5, Turnabout Ablaze

We, like, totally grill Shih-na and find that she thinks Kay killed Coachen for the key. But like why. Also the Organizer says it was pilfered 7 years ago so, like, who had the key really. Whomst.

We experience, like, cute banter between Edgeworth and Shih-na. They're adooooooooorable. Maybe I'll ship them. Shih-na is pretty convinced she saw Kay kill Coachen. What is this, like, a Vegas floor show? There's way more people involved than we thought!

Edgey-poo argues that the Yatagarasu wouldn't be a dumb-dumb and NOT steal the paperwork the great thief like, came for in the first place. He's right, of course. He's always right. He's like, my baby boooooy. I loooooove him.

Shih-na starts, like, glowing with an unearthly pallor and floats high above the Steel Samurai-lookin' figure. Gummy tries to ask her questions, and she responds only with an echoey voice: "There is no Shih-na. Only Zuul." Weird, but tubular. I'm down with it.

Shih-na then, like, comes back down to earth and points out she saw Kay holding the knife. Edgey-poo is going to like, rake her over some hot coals, next time! Like, see you then!

[thank you for surviving this extremely April 1st edition of gameplay update <3]

i love the hand wringing animation
It's pretty great. Does convey the nervousness and lack of confidence quite well.

AAI1-5, Turnabout Ablaze

Using Logic, we start to question Franziska on why she's here - smuggling investigation, perhap? Fran produces a page, the paper was made ONLY in ye olde Kingdom of Cohdopia. [The longer I think on what the potential pun is in 'Cohdopia', the more my brain pulls towards the 'doppio' scene from Nichijou]

So somewhere in one of the countries is the head of the smuggling ring, and Franny is gonna hunt it down.

We head back to the false back safe and put together that Franziska had page 2 of the 3 page document contained inside. We determine that Manny Coachen was the head of the smuggling ring, Fran is disappointed that she doesn't get to whip him senseless, Miles encourages her that there's more to be seen.

Investigation Complete

Shih-na starts making for the door with Kay in tow. Miles protests, offering to help reduce the number of false arrests made by Interpol [smooooooth...]. Next, we'll cross-examine Shih-na's reasoning for carting Kay off to the clink!

See you then!

We figure out that the Yatagarasu Key opens the safe, but the other end, the blade, is the 'key' to the not-so-secret compartment. This contains several items stolen from other countries, pieces of art.

I finally noticed that huuuuge butterfly motif on the wall, so we connect that to the butterfly symbol on the ornate interchangeable handle of the murrrrder weapon. The butterfly is a Babahlese symbol.

We wonder why Franziska is here when she's supposed to be elsewhere. She was investigating at the Allebahstian embassy, where another incident occurred. Franny left Agent Lang in charge [he's also Ambassador Alba's bodyguard] and came over to the Babahlese side. I do enjoy that this embassy has an 'A' side, and a 'B' side, just like a cassette tape or vinyl record.

Gumshoe starts yelling about the note from the Yatagarasu, threatening to reveal the 'dirtiest secret' and how the lab boys are going nuts! XD

We'll find out more next time. See you then!

Palaeno keeps plying us with coupons and wringing his hands over the economic impact a murder at the embassy may have on Babahl.

We decide to use the Yatagarasu Key to open a small safe we find in the room. It appears to have two compartments, but I don't have anything on hand to prove that's the case. I like that Miles says, "It's obvious even if you eyeball it" because it absolutely is. Even without the papers carelessly sticking out from the other compartment, it's so easy to see.

I'll have to poke around more next time! See you then!

Okay, cool!

AAI1-5, Turnabout Ablaze

A Steel Samurai performer enters with a cart and a small baby samurai, idk. Looks suspich. Miles is starstruck by the very idea of the Steel Samurai, who gives out his autograph quickly and with little fanfare. This left me wondering - did the Steel Samurai know Miles would be there? Those things are personalized!

Kay insists they go see the Jammin' Ninja show [Miles could not care less about this], and she really enjoys it. They exit to people wigging out about the Yatagarasu. Kay runs off to find the Yatagarasu, climbing over the barrier between the two embassies [they share a building] and the building is on fire. Miles is such a good, adoptive dad, and Kay is an adorable, unrestrained terror. How will this play out? At this point, I would joke 'that was a good case'.

Miles runs after her, he's in a suit, it's exhausting. He bursts through the door to find Shih-na [remember her?] holding Kay, Gumshoe stamping his feet and looking rather annoyed, and... Manny Coachen's body?? Kay insists she did not kill him, she did noooot... oh hi Miles. [bonus pts to whoever gets my lame joke]

Shih-na is tight-lipped as a clam, Miles explains to a disappointed Gumshoe that the Babahlese embassy is considered part of their country, and that we have no jurisdiction here. I love that Gummy's interpretation of jurisdiction is 'wherever Mr Edgeworth is'!

Franziska suddenly enters with a golden-haired man, Ambassador Palaeno, who has a creepy sprite hand motion. Not great. Miles slides in, announcing himself as Franziska's assistant, asking permission to investigate. Palaeno's fine with it, but Franny most certainly isn't. She turns it around with the pleasant realization that Miles is now her underling, and Franziska is a girl who always needs underlings.

Manny was Palaeno's 'secretariat', which I only thought was a horse until today.

Gummy was on guard duty for the Babahlese embassy. Bruh. You need to stop accepting guard duty missions, something bad always happens. We examine the area, there was a fire, Manny Coachen got stabbed in the neck by a nearby decorative knife with a butterfly on the hilt. The body also has the Yatagarasu key/knife double weapon on his person. We fill Gumshoe in on how this was the knife that killed Mr Faraday, and Calisto Yew had made off with it during her escape.

We'll ask Palaeno more about Cohdopia and investigate the room more later. See you then!

AAI1-5, Turnabout Ablaze

Spooky opening. That title card reading '8 hours earlier'. Miles is chilling and drinking tea. Kay pulls him into investigating <reads smudged handwriting> East and West Germany? No, it's Allebahst and Babahl. Together, they were known as COHDOPIA. Musical sting plays, flashbacks to KG-8 and second KG-8 and Manny Coachen, Rell, Calisto Yew, and everything else we had to deal with last time.

They're going to unveil a statue/sculpture that's a national treasure to both sides. That's probably going to go fine and without any issues. Kay's itching to see it, and Miles warns her against her thieving tendencies.

We'll figure out more next time. See you then!
