The ammount of concentration and luck required on a SMB3 run is insane. The current world record for SMB was achieved fairly recently. I actually watcha watched most of the SMB one today haha... I really thought I was a beast at running through it (Not necessarily speedrunning, I just tend to play quickly), but some of the things the "real" runners use blew my mind. Such as the glitch to make big Mario's hitbox the size of small Mario's, I cant believe I had never heard of it before.
