Also the entire series was building up their bond so I was surprised by the kiss either way. She ultimately ends up single and I don't think they wanted a main romance to be the focus, which I was fine with.

Yes, and each side says people always complain about this, but never complain about this. When both extremes are hypocrites. There are still people outraged Scarlett Johansson isn't treated as a pariah cause ghost in the shell. They ignore that she could easily be in any body and the fact that it is a big budget movie and Scarjo is the biggest name with no Asian actress a remotely close draw. I wish it was as close to the source material as possible, but it made sense. Something like Death Note does have a case cause they purposely didn't go after Asian actors, which was really odd, but it was weird they called it whitewashed when many other races replaced them.

It concluded fine. What else should they have done? They fucked over the original cast...so not much else to do.

I literally can't understand a nearly 40 percent decrease from TLJ. Was Finn and Rose in a casino that entertaining? Palpatine being alive makes no sense but is needed and other characters at least do things this time besides Rey soloing everything. Conclusion was solid as well. I understand not liking it I'd you felt disappointed from the series, like I am, but how do you hate it if you like the last one.

Is this true? what is this based on? So you are saying that people who create movies and television shows are conspiring to purposely do this, cause redheads replaced minorities in the past?

So I don't usually care much about this, unless I personally feel the look/race is very important or iconic. I also think both sides of the argument are usually hypocrites and don't examine all the facts. While I think it is best to stick as close to the source material with a charters appearance and background, sometimes like with Jeri Hogarth it made the character better. This usually goes for lesser known and characters with less backstory.

That said it is kind of annoying and strange that notable redheads in particular are always changed when adapted to live action. What does Hollywood have against gingers? These are pretty notable characters as well that this happens to.

It was like fast and furious, but too long where you notice it.

Considering what they had to work with. Good Job. Palpatine coming was dumb and made no sense, but they have no real villain without it. Rose rightfully had 5 lines and Lando had some...weird lines. Leia's acting was weird and robotic. Rey also wasn't a ridiculous Mary sue and other characters had moments as well.

Wayyyyy better than the second one, especially considering what they had to work with
